Thanks to @Sir Cheshire Ben for the donation as well You can always join the competition for the upcoming weeks. Plenty of rounds to catch the rest
Solid little round for Hebrides! Current leader, Rovertiger, the only one not to get a correct score as it tightens up in the standings Hopefully correct and without ghost fixtures this time around
Lost my dad to cancer getting on for ten years ago. Found out this week ( exactly ten years to the day that we got the bad news about my dad having the dreaded big C - how weird?? )that my mum has got advanced stomach cancer. Inoperable and she’s not well enough for chemo. Dark days lie ahead, that’s a given. One more Christmas would be nice but I’m not optimistic. She’s had a rough couple of years, bless her. Dementia and Alzheimer’s have robbed her of a lot and now this? I’m a bit remedial when it comes to donating stuff on line but I signed up to contribute to Cancer research UK over twenty years ago and give every month. Keep smiling people, as my old boy used to say; ‘It’ll be alright on the night’. Never made much sense, silly old sod.
Sorry to hear that mate. Hope that you and yours are able to find the strength needed over the coming weeks. Stay strong if you can.
