Going to ignore the 7 we have scored tonight (cause that worries me) and go with a Liverpool win in a 3-2 thriller

I do worry about the World Cup as we don’t really start fast as a general rule and it will be like coming back from summer again

This is an easy win. I just won't say for which team.

    Dead rubber.

More points in bound in the next 2 games, West Ham and forest.

If we defend like arsenal game or leave gaps like there was v rangers they will kill us.

The fake vvd v haaland.. it's going to be a hammering

I'm less worried about haaland and more worried by Foden, he finds space against us when we are playing well, God forbid what he can do at the moment.

Hopefully one of defensive midfielders sits in, just sit in front of the defense so they are not straight in at the centrebacks.

I'm not arsed if we press or we sit back, as long as we pick one to do and do it well.

Either all go and make it difficult & accept the danger it presents or all sit in and make us hard to play through and accept them having the ball. Not a half arsed mix of the two.

The rangers destruction was a great morale booster but facing City we will have to step up. I think we will do much better than people predict. A draw at least.

The players will be motivated or should be. Salah and firmino are back to form at the right time. A loss could mean we are only one point from the relegation zone. Too depressing to contemplate.

Be interesting see how city play this one. They normally show but more respect and don’t press quite as much as they do other teams, but given we’re so off form this season you’d think they’d treat this as a game against any other team.

I've subbed Foden into my FF team for this game, he always plays well against us.

Haaland will score at least one imo (he's my FF captain too btw)

I cant see city not scoring, but I can see us getting a couple as well.

City's defense isn't great either, but its wether you can actually get the ball off them and go at them that's the issue.

so ignoring citeh and their massively impressive and expensive team thats paid under the table.

What can LFC do on sunday?.

Defence: gomez Konate VVd Robertson. I think this is fairly obvious now. the simple tacical chang ei want is to see the cbs say close and cover each other. just close the gaps and let whateve rhappens wide happen and mark haaland ffs.

Midfield 2. Honestly don't know. Thiago has been fairly disastrous in terms of recovery of position. Fabinho and Henderson started last night. This is the area thats causing is most issues. they coughed another goal up last night FFS. they need to stand in position narrow in the middle and kick 7 shades out of de bryune (not that they will get close)

front 4. Lets assume theres a front 4 of some sort. Jota, salah, firmno, nunez. these guys have license to press and run about to help the side out.

I see this more of a 451 TBH.

there'll be time for elliott and cavalho and milner and whoever to come on.

My view is look to west ham and forest the following week for games to win.

ANY result here would be a great result.

Look TBH you can take your pick of who will find space, silva, foden, debruyne. Its going to happen so we have to accept it and try play offside as much as is humanly possible :)

if its a424 formation we have to be smart about it and close the distance between the lines so city don't have that much space to play in except behind us.

I would in general agree and sa the same for any team playing city. sit back and lose heavily. go at them and scare them and just maybe you get a win or lose less heavily.
