Sorry, don't mind me. I'm so negative atm that I'm worried that a hard game on Wednesday (it will be) and the splattering on Saturday against City (or is it Sunday?) will be biblical.
its Sunday a day of rest and conreplation best done from behind the sofa with just the occasional glance at the tele .
Creosoting the fence if it doesn't rain. Walking the dog if does. Not drinking this month - I may fall off the wagon.
don't take your radio with you on the dog walk otherwise you might traumatise him / her with your shrieking .
I don't mind you at all mate, I agree with lots you say (and disagree with a bit as well ) I've lived through so many ups and downs watching our team throughout my life (so have you) that I've learned to be philosophical about it - beyond my immediate post-match reaction. It might be an extended blip - we had one not so long ago - or it might be something more profound. Either way, it is what it is. If I can't enjoy us being at the top, I can derive enjoyment watching us try to solve the problems and get back there.
Why??? They are ****ing ****. If our lot would just play the ball forward rather than turning away from Joe gomez he would cross the ball for nunez. I've not worried that we will be much worse. Alission Gomez konate vvd tsimikas Salah henderson thaigo jota Firmino nunez Or stick in fabinho. Whatever. Its all good.
Who knows. Nobody has bothered to report what was said via lip read yet? If not then it's pretty clear they would rather the baseless smear campaign than have to publish what was actually said.
Funnily enough I think we will up our game against City. They have always found it difficult to play against us and Klopp seems to have the hoodoo over Pep. The charity shield confirmed it. I can see a narrow win for us (probably being optimistic here).
I could be quite wrong, but I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he meant Ajax are ****e so we needn't worry. This is also incorrect of course, but less inflammatory.
Possible offside: Saka on Martinelli goal What happened: Arsenal took the lead in the first minute through Gabriel Martinelli, but there was a review for offside in the buildup against Bukayo Saka (watch here.) VAR decision: Goal stands VAR review: A first, it seems, as the VAR was unable to make a full calibrated check on Saka's offside position. The VAR set the kick-point on Ben White, who played the pass to Saka, and then looked to use one of the other cameras, which are all time-synced, to apply the offside lines. Technology provider Hawk-Eye has five cameras around the pitch which can be used to place the offside lines, but Saka was out of shot on all of them at the point the ball was played by White. These are the same cameras used for broadcasting the game and are not bespoke for VAR. Great this Var isn't it .
So there was no var check cos the emirates cameras are inadequate? Or they fudged it to agree with the onfield decision?
"Is water wet?" is one of those contentious questions that people will argue about constantly. A bit like handball.
