Defence needs at least 2 additions and we are missing Tetteh. I imagine that would cost 2 or 3 million at least to sort out including wages.

Four years is not ten or twenty, and he wouldn't be the first to come out of retirement. That said we shouldn't be looking at him what with his appalling record of promotions. That is all.:emoticon-0100-smile

He would stop relegation which is essential. Unlikely to do anymore but if I was running a business that is sliding towards a disaster in the way we are right now I think Colin until the end of the season and an input on the next coach wouldn't be a bad shout

He's 73. Hodgson had a great record at Palace and then came out of retirement and took Watford down at the age of 75. That is all. :)

There is a massive imbalance in midfield but I imagine someone like Martins would prefer Seri to Woods and Slater.

It’s all in his head, if you throw enough seed there is always the chance one will take and grow…

'Some' on here should throw some Manchineel tree seeds, then wait for the rain. :emoticon-0111-blush

Well, after the flurry of maybe he is coming after all, these posts, along with Baz saying there is nothing in it just takes the wind out of the sails. If any real concrete evidence that a manager is definitely on the way emerges, could the poster please use big bold fonts.

He plays a high pressing style, think someone like Doc would come into his own

i genuinely think Baz might be off the scent with Acun choosing to be more prudent. Isn’t like HT2 to make things up in what usually gets said on this board.

Pedro Martins is now the 4/5 favourite, with Carvalhal out at 6/1, followed by Andy Dawson and Sergen Yalcin at 8/1.

If I was a betting man, which I’m not because it’s a complete mug’s game, I would be backing the U turn. He can’t do another one, other wise that’s an O turn and he’ll just get very dizzy and end up managing Lincoln.

Think it was literally just replying to Vern. Not usually the best indicator.

I just can’t see u-turn coming. My guess is we’ll get Dawson till the World Cup and someone appointed just before to give them a month to gel a team with those who don’t go.

We simply can't wait that long and I can't see us doing so either. There's 8 games until the WC, and we could be in the complete **** by then.

Daws has improved performances but we need someone experienced at the helm to cut out these defensive errors and to sort out our attacking play.

I'd be shocked if someone wasn't done/all but done this week
