Scott got it right when he said "I'd say it was fairly blatant that Newcastle went there with a game plan." Er...apparently not, Scott. Blatant to some, but there you go. And Leeeeon: "...anyone who can get Guttierez and Obertan tracking back every time deserves a lot of respect." Again, apparently not. You couldn't make it up. If we'd adopted the same tactics v Stoke at the Britannia and got that result we'd be singing Rodgers' name from the rooftops. We're two minutes in this Division and all of a sudden we're looking down our noses at established Premiership teams because of the way they play football. DPJ rubbishing Chelsea before that game and we all know what happened. I warned him then to have a bit of humility but was scoffed at in his inimitabe way. A reality check is needed - let's hope we don't get it Saturday.
you obviously havent read the origional post HTR ! plenty of respect was shown, i just pointed out it was crap game , which it was!! think your going off on a tangent now and painting everything the same colour , (which doesnt look like its white) my opinion is that it was ****e game and both sides played poor football , you say they wernt crap it was tactics , thats fine and you and smudge convinced me of that but it still doesnt really answer the point about players not being able to control the ball or pass it correctly it was a really poor game , and tactics or not there is nothing that will make me think any different. if you think it was a wonderfull display of defensive football then thats up to you im not really that bothered as im not a newcastle utd fan like you, im a swans fan
Are you suggesting I'm not? 20 Swans season tickets and a fan since 1967 says otherwise. Oh, and I also watch all the home games at the Lib. May even take in a couple of away ones too this time. How about you?
Im not suggesting anything ! im just saying that i just support the swans , you support 2 teams Why do you feel the need to defend your loyalty Aussie ?? hope your not feeling guilty , you shouldnt feel guilty for supporting more than 1 football team in the same division , nothing wrong with that at all mate My job takes me away from home and last 1yr i have been permenanently based abroad ,does that make me less of a fan or suppoerter ?? in fact this could be a fresh debate , are you more of a fan if you support 2 teams in the same division but have a season ticket or have followed your team from the age of 6 yrs old for 30 odd years but dont own a season ticket as your job rotation means you spend alot of time away?? Hmmm... or maybe you are both supporters but one has divided loyalties and one doesnt following 2 teams.. tut tut ,does that mean you only have 50% loyalty when it matters? it would explain alot aussie
Maybe you should stand against a wall and invite me to see which one of us can p1$$ the highest aussie ?? Then you can tell everyone that you are the bestest and mostest biggest swans fan of all time !!......who supports Newcastle
"...tut tut ,does that mean you only have 50% loyalty when it matters? " Oh dear, you really are being a twonk. And an insulting one too. Now questioning my loyalty to the Swans. Nice one. I have always supported Swansea since I was a lad. I do so by buying a season ticket and by watching them whenever I can. That's 'support'. You support them in your own way from afar. I fully understand you having to be overseas. Three years in Oz for me. I have a family connection with the Toon so make no apologies for liking them, their fans and their team. I've been to SJP three times in the last 15 years to watch Prem games and have a weekend piss-up when the Swans were not in the Prem. That's not 'support'. If I 'supported' two teams then wouldn't I be hoping for a draw when we meet them? You seem to take great delight in trying to wind me up. I really don't know why. Now you're even questioning my loyalty to my Team and that's beyond the pale. You should be ashamed of yourself. Think it's best we stay away from each other before I say something I probably won't regret.
Hmmm ... harsh words there aussie After i apoligised to you earlier in the thread and conceeding that you won me over with your argument , you still persist in trying to be right, there is no right or wrong just opinion aussie! you dont seem to be able to get your head around that do you ?? Look , im only messing about aussie ,you were the one who said you were a newcastle fan and that they are your second team i just repeated your words thats all I think your a top poster and im sorry if i upset you or questioned your loyalty , i apoligise for that , it was un called for , i hope that clears everything up with us 100% respect aussie Im off to browse other message boards now, i guess i ll see you later ....on the Newcastle board !
Sometimes i check my spelling sometimes i dont , i never really bother on internet forums as im normally typing while doing something else . as long as people get the rough idea thats all that matters.
