I certainly didn’t notice that yesterday, he occasionally doesn’t jump for headers but that’s about it. Made the most tackles out of any player on the pitch yesterday…
I’d say it was the opposite last night. I think he put himself about and if anything, was at risk of a booking on a couple.
Yes he was I don’t think he was that great tbh He disappeared second half and I thought he shoulda been hooked It will be interesting to see if he is kept At cm he’s certainly got the nasty side for it
He's very strong on the ground, often wins it back with an effective shoulder barge, but he does pull out of the aerial 50-50s. Last night it was enough and and on the whole he did well.
Blimey, is someone having a go at other posters? Thank you for stepping up and condemning that kind of behaviour.
Everyone one knows its one rule for Chazz... Of course its possible.for anyone with an ounce an ounce of emotional intelligence to see weakness in recruitment without predicting absolute and dire catastrophe as many on here appear to jump to as a default almost as it they're relishing the prospect. And GFAW my point is that if a team rocks up with a good record and look poor, it's usually because we've made them look poor as you say. Long may doing the ugly side of it continue.
And who has predicted catastrophe ? it’s just you jumping up an down like you’re the only tru believer Not like you even go to games is it
I see Figgy was given a little trot out towards the end......was this for the benefit of the New Man, Portugal and all that. McL didn't even make the bench this time. He must be considered substandard by Daws as well as Shota at this stage. Zero game time so far in this campaign. I'd say he could be on his way out in January, either told to or will want to...of course it will depend now on Martins
Didn't see the game last night but it seems Christie and Coyle worked well down the right. Back in the day I always thought we'd see Coyle and Emmanuel doing just that. Wonder if we ever will, could be a bit special imo.
I actually thought bringing Figs on for the last 5 was a good way of getting him a bit of confidence back. Proved to be good management however if we'd conceded... Suspect McL is seen as backup for Greaves and not much more.
I heard last night this was Greaves 94th consecutive start. By me reckoning, thats perhaps 5 set pieces per game average, which is close on 500 opportunities (or more) without scoring... and he's still only 50/1 every time we play.
If anything daws played a 4-4-2 last night and Christie certainly shored up the right hand side with Lewie lewie makes some brilliant crosses, the first goal a great example he just makes some poor decisions at times A new coach could really help him become a leg end here
McLoughlin came on against Sheffield United. He also played the full game against Bradford and was really poor, which I suspect is the reason we've not seen much of him since.
