Funny you say that. My Dad seemed to be desperate for an argument all game. Said Amad ran and tried to take people on instead of passing 10 times. I counted a couple. He then said that save wasn’t that difficult. Which pushed me over the edge and I had to say something. Sick of negative guys who go on like that. And he’s me Dad ffs!!
Apart from my prediction being slightly out not to despondent. Yes it wasn't the best game but it's another point on the board. Were doing better than I expected and in time I believe we will go on a good run and win games playing fantastic football. I think TMs job is going to be hard trying to keep everyone in the squad happy. Amad should have smacked the ball in. The goal would have counted if we had a competent ref and let's be fair to their goalie. What a save at the end. The tw*t
Aye, I've thought this a few times but there has not been a match where we though ****ing gell we were ****e or no where near them etc... Sheff Utd was the closest to feeling that way and that was only once down to 10 men and we pushed them close in the end
I think the worst we've played this season was against Boro and we were never really out of that game. Against Sheffield Utd we more than held our own even when we were down to 10 men
There was a bloke not far from us who booed the players as they came on and moaned about them throughout. Thank God I'm not in his world. As Bob Dylan said "just for one day I'd like to be in your shoes then I'd know what a drag it is to be you" or something like that but I don't think I could even deal with that mentality for just one day.
I am surprised we aren't using him, I thought that's why we bought him, as an emergency fall back rather than out and out U21's
Good Dylan quote mate ... ... it's a phrase that often goes through my mind when I meet miserable people.
I'm happy where everything is at even after two home 0 - 0's. All part of the consolidating process. If City are without Haaland then it will change the dynamics like it does for us without Ross. The young kid route which we are taking to me is going well......yes, there will be inconsistencies but would rather live with that then watching overpaid mercenaries f*cking us for everything we have. Love watching the lads from afar with ESPN here picking up most of the games. Pleased what I have seen from TM also but our club normally does well with 'down to earth sorts'. From what I have seen so far I think once after we get some troops back after injury and maybe a top in January we will be knocking on the top six door before the end of the season. Good times....onward and upwards!!!
I'd rather see keen young lads try something special and fail ... ... than jaded mercenaries not even bother to try and make a three yard sideways pass.
I’d say it, but I love my dad so I’ll steer clear But he’s be somewhere in that group of fans. Literally shouted “Clarke you’re ****e man” at one point then turned to me when I shook my head and said “was that good” I said “no but that doesn’t make HIM ****e”. I’m sat between 2 normally.

Evening all. Reading through the thread it's very clear we care. It's OK to have an opinion that there's a worry we have no fit strikers. It's my opinion that if we had even one fit striker out, we , and not in a big headed way take 6 points from the two home games. Alas we took two. Work in progress we are, imo it's a case of "Where we could've been" in the table. But that's football. 5 more minutes against Watford and we probably would've nicked another. All that said, There's no guarantee Ross will be here after the January window, my Gues would be an Everton move. I'm very happy where we are leauge wise, but I hope we can kick on a bit more because so far, I've seen very precious little to fear from anyone else in the leauge. Long live the club.
That may be correct but let's not forget that Stewart has gone half a dozen games, or more, when he's not scored ... I think he only broke one spell with a penalty iirc. When we played Reading and Watford five goals was the highest tally in back to back games this season ... .... I'd rather Stewart was playing though, sometimes as much as defending corners as scoring. I was really worried on Tuesday night.
Even our illustrious manager has mentioned the problem of lack of height..in defending and attacking. We play two wingers they will have more options to cross if there is a big lad in the penalty area to cross to. Alese?
Smug I was amazed we survived the 12 corners Blackpool had, and out that together with his specialist Preston apparently are at them with their big physical players for us to keep two clean sheets gives me a lot to be positive about despite not scoring, sometimes it's not all about goals for!
Stewart is far more than a target man for us. He is excellent at holding up the ball and passing it to players supporting the attack and as Smug already stated, he is excellent at defending set pieces. I really hope he repays the trust we have shown him and stays after the January deadline.
