[QUOTE="Hammersmith bookie, post: 16187898, member: 1047034"Enjoy the moment , its all rosy at the moment. We have a team giving their all out there, and as lovely as the results are that's all I ever ask. Is that positive enough for everyone ? [/QUOTE] Yes. Lovely jubbly. Keep up the good vibes.
. Agree with all that in particular Balogun. Willock will be a huge loss if he"s out long. I didnt think Sheffield were much if any better than the other teams we have played. Look at the table, as you say its wide open. Anyone can beat anyone, Sheffield were just average, nothing special. But they do have a lot of injuries right now. I havent seen any team reach our level when we are at our very best. Unfortunately we usually only manage that for 30 to 45 minutes a game and Willock is at the centre of it.
That is not a problem for a winning team which believes and a squad itching to play and for us to rely on. Didn't Dykes get a brace against them at HQ last season? Tiredness is no excuse because everyone else has to do the same.
Willock to have scam on hamstring and Seny has pulled a muscle in his thigh again according to Beale. So the exact injuries that they both suffered from last season. Ffs praying they aren't as bad as last season's , they really are irreplaceable in our team !
What a fantastic result. Wasn't able to follow in real time, but the comments here sum up a wonderful evening. Defense + Field were fantastic again. Safe journey home to our loyal supporters who made the trip and as the highlights show made a lot of noise.
Steffan hasn't scored at home infront of a crowd yet ! His previous goals at headquarters were behind closed doors and all this season have been away. Be nice for him to get one infront of the fans at home
Just back from surgery and out of hospital. Woke to see we’ve won. That absolutely brilliant! The Micky Beale machine rolls on.
This is important. If scoring the first can lead to maybe 10 for the rest of the season, that would be awesome. If not, Wells in January? (Too expensive, FFP, blah blah).
Watched a different game to me Ossie. Sheffield United are top for a reason. They looked excellent at times. It was an immense away performance from us.
Actually controlling the ball and retaining possession would be a start for Dykes. So poor when he came on.
Highlights from last night... https://www.skysports.com/efl/champ...sheffield-utd-0-1-qpr-championship-highlights Seny with another cracking save, that Dykes/Roberts double miss at the end though
It should have been a bread & butter finish for Dykes, but (from the telly angle at least) it was harder for Roberts to get his follow-up off target than on. Douglas Bader would've buried that one.
