    ****ting on the club?

I have been constant in sharing info about about it moving forward. Wanting it too. Willing it too.

Just because it's not happened in some areas doesn't mean I dont want it too.

    That's unfair.

We didn't seem to be struggling to score against Watford or Rotherham without a striker, there were no complaints then. We just happen to have come up against a couple of teams that have kept us out, doesn't mean it's going to keep on happening.

Exactly, there's only one team in the country who can guarantee they'll score in every game at the moment and that's City with Haaland. Bet ****ing Speakman didn't even put an offer in the clown

Oof harsh. I think you know where lots are coming from and where the concerns are.
    If not, I apologize.

Frustrating night, but we did enough to win. Too any touches and not enough decisiveness in front of goal. Need to find a way to rectify this and soon.....

We literally started with 2 strikers against Rotherham and ripped them to bits.

Luton could've gone top 6 by beating the bottom team at home but conceded three goals and drew.

Top team, Sheffield United, would've gone three points clear with a home win but lost without scoring.

We're a newly promoted team ravaged by injuries and the loss of our manager ...

... we're one point of the play offs, I'll settle for that.

Yup. Perspective needed. We have a young team and those lads will make mistakes like they did tonight.

I think he meant Reading - the best I've seen us play.
Simms got injured so we didn't have any strikers

If at the beginning of the season someone would have said we'd be in 7th place, having only lost 3 of 12 games (and of the 12, many of the against the top teams), and those loses arguably down to bad luck (or at least, not because we played particularly badly) I'd have been more than happy with it. I'm sure most of us would have been.
A bit if perspective is needed imo.

We've got a very young squad, so it's normal to go through patches where things don't always click.

So we've struggled to score in 2 games. Frustrating yes, but we kept clean sheets and avoided losing. We've come a hell of a long way in 12 months.

Ah ok. No worries. The main but if it is away from home. It fits.

    At home it doesn't.

I thought we were lucky to get a point tonight. But also unlucky not to get 3 if that makes sense. They created from almost every corner although that’s really the only danger they had. That skill, touch and cross from Bennett’s and header from Clarke goes in 9 times out of 10. Top save imo.

Thought we were Bette first half and they were better second. Probably makes a draw a fair result.

Has Clarke fallen out with Robert’s? More than once Clarke chose a blind alley instead of passing to Robert’s in space. I’d have taken Clarke off personally and left Robert’s on as, when he got the ball, he looked dangerous. Clarke looked ponderous

He is less impactful will Alese behind him. He has done a great job but going forward without Cirken it's no coincidence we are a massive lack of thret down that side. The way he rips the ball forward and gets quickly inberween tacking zones. Makes Clarke better.

Mowbray said we were amazing in the first half? I’m not so sure I’d agree.

i am disappointed at the performance tonight, too many runs into brick walls, holding the ball too long, not making the right pass etc etc.

roberts is starting to frustrate as i thought he would, great talent at times and a joy to watch but if all he is going to do is try to cut in on his left foot then defenders already have the jump on him, same with clarke although he does alter his runs from cutting in to going wide but he was guilty of holding on too long and trying for free kicks which we were rarely going to get with that ref.

some have had a bit of a go at gooch for shouting at his team mates, i lost count of the number of times there was no one to pass to and little movement and when we did get moving the passes were slow or overhit or people tried those fancy little flicks that might come off now and then, even patterson looked unsure on more than one occasion.

i feel our problem is trying to recreate 'that' goal from the other week, wanting to pass the ball fast with clever little flicks but those rarely happen and i would have the main lads back for some shooting practice for those free kicks.

yes i know on another night one of pritchards free kicks flies in the top corner or clarkes header is not stopped by a damn good save and we all feel so much better but we also reserve the right to be critical when the perfromance deserves it...i stick by what i have said previous, we have a damn good squad that is still (in the main) learning their trade and it will not always be 'sweetness and light' however much we will it to be.

we have our problems, we are missing our strikers, we have young lads settling into the team and indeed the country but as was said earlier, our good start has possibly glossed over these facts and we all seem to expect better but to be top half of this league after our last four years and actually playing or at least trying hard to play good football... i will take that with open arms as i still honestly feel these lads will grow and improve.
