I do get the feeling that there is a lot of lazy journalism around, reporters just going on what they see on social media.
Baz has a pretty solid link with the club. That said he only knows what they're willing to tell him and as we've seen with player transfers and the takeover itself, things can change.
I wasn't just meaning Baz, I was just referring to journalism on the whole. Nevertheless, it could well have been a red herring fed to him by the club.
Well, we have to wait and see, Acun plane had a short stopover in Portugal and is now just approaching Humberside, maybe he was picking up the new coach?
I think we can assume he's not just gone for a quick dip. Hope there are some eagle-eyes around the airport and training ground.
Stopped for breakfast at Brucies place in the Algarve. Decided after the full English that he would do without lunch.
Acun is too full on and as a new owner of a football club with the money he has invested he wants to oversee every single aspect and decision of the club even down to transfers and selection. I am sure over time he will learn to step back. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Didn't know Martins was partial to a full English. Maybe they'll stop off for a patty butty n scraps on the way from the airport.
I have a sneaky feeling it will be Pedro Martins. If so, I will be beyond delighted as he really is a top manager. Took some very small teams in Portugal to Europa League with 4/5/6 place finishes and then won pretty much everything in Greece with Olympiacos.
Burnsy said on Humberside earleir that Acun had been dropped at Humberside then his plane flew to Portgual. I'm sure thats what he said.
