https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lancashire-63118022.amp Jake Berry says that everyone struggling with their bills should get a new job and earn more. It's brilliant in theory, but not everyone can earn more. In the case of some public sector jobs, the government don't want to pay more and people are striking. I'm sure the answers are not all easy, but such simplistic remarks are idiotic and smack of the "I'm alright jack" attitude. I'm all for personal responsibility to a point, but it's the government's role to create an economic environment and infrastructure that enables more high paid jobs and they've failed miserably. Boris Johnsons "high wage economy" is nowhere to be seen.
So people should leave stable long standing jobs and take a chance on getting through the 1/3/6 month probationary period just so they can pay for higher food costs and other bills ... ... ffs, they're really acting up to their caricatures now, like Spitting Image come to life
I notice lads on here aren’t calling for her head, after seeing what’s happening after getting rid of Boris.
As I recall a truss helps with hernias and testicles.. well liz truss us getting nowhere near my ballsack!
Getting rid of Boris was not the wrong choice. The fact that the conservatives put another moron in charge is on them. Only thing we can do now is wait for an election and boot everyone of them out.
Boris's own cabinet called for his head ... ... I feel our influence on the situation was quite limited Besides, as with all of Sunderland’s signings I give them more than one game to judge them, even if they score an own goal.
I wanted Boris out because he was a liar, hypocrite and convicted criminal ... ... Truss is more inept than anything else. I just think she was handed a rope and she provided the scaffold.
I feel our influence on the situation was quite limited it might of been, but nobody is going to take the risk again, god knows what we’d end up with
Agreed. The problems are built into the system. Anyone you'd want to be PM is guaranteed to be nowhere near the job. It's the backstabbers and bastards who get on.
Like I said before, does anybody on here really believe there is a single politician capable of running a country, not a shop or a pub but a Country.
That's the trouble, they're doing both at the same time. Her own MPs are criticising her as much as anyone else tbf.
