It's absolutely frightening to be honest.

She's become the leader of the nation grace of a saga of the previous PM being forced out by his own cabinet and her saying absolutely anything to win the vote of a few thousand old women in the Tory party electorate.

Despite all of the so called diversity, in the Tory government, we have yet another white PM in a series of white PM's ...

... having said that, Kwasi has probably scuppered any deviation, from that, in the next fifty years.

That may well be a valid part of the job but she's so blatantly clueless you'd think she'd have a little tact in her first week at work.

I'm convinced she's simply another Boris who just wanted to be PM ...

... not actually act as a PM.

I notice she was straight into the high vis, hard hat & goggles ensemble, just like dressing up time for toddlers.

Difference in interview technique between Bonko and Liz. Bonko preferred to obfuscate whilst Liz goes full on abstruse.

Kwarteng thrown completely under the bus by his leader today. A good start to their new relationship.

Dorries having a dig at the PM and Gove saying the 45% tax cut was wrong and should be reversed.

The Tories are beating each other up more than Labour or the public.

Like I said before, nothing great about changing a crap government for another crap government that hardly anyone would touch with a barge pole before, but after one speech from Starmer they are a new party <doh>

That kind of thinking is pure madness in my opinion.

It’s like drinking a beer that tastes ****e and having another option available but sticking with the ****e one on the off chance the other ‘might’ be equally as bad or worse.

I am not advocating keeping the Tories by the way, but I would like something better.

Is he actually grinning at those people or is that some normal grimace from him?

one day, just one day i would like to see the police take the side of the people they are paid to protect and just slowly drop back just long enough for some one to clout one of the smug tw@ts!

Surely there is nothing crooked about Moggs business partner being made a Lord and a minister? :emoticon-0138-think

Ps he also gave several hundred thousand pounds to the tory party.

i have said it for many years now, they should all be accountable for everything they do while in 'power', only then will we see any change, they get damn well paid, loads of benefits unheard of in other jobs even allowed second homes (while being given the extra cash to run them) a pension to 'die for' and a possible job in an even more lucrative position in europe.

as it stands there is simply nothing to stop therm doing just as they wish and handing out contracts to family members/friends/relatives with no justification whatsoever (ie: not the cheapest or best one for the job in hand), handing out a peerage in the same manner, filling their own bank accounts...basically, lying, cheating, thieving in fact almost any crime you can think of yet they always walk away at the end having done a usually sh1te job and left millions suffering with their reputations intact and in many cases, stronger because the media are controlled by the same people.
