England are not looking that good at the moment anyway, but if it hasn't been mentioned anywhere, I read today that Eddie Howe, "doesn't want the England job". A man who took over a team which had finished thirteenth in the table, spends about £130m then finishes two places higher, and is still in mid table despite another £100m spent in the summer, clearly regards himself as the best English coach in the game. It really looks as if every single individual associated with that lot is deluded.
Will definitely be on fa's list when they looking for the next manager. We aren't particularly flush with good English managers,.don't think we will go foreign again and the job doesn't really attract the top managers anyway.
howe went there for one reason and that is the same as others...money. he knew he would get well paid and he was obviously given the promise of plenty to spend on players, keegoon was the same although he did get a good team together he forgot about defending so they still won feck all, when he went to england where he had to pick and choose from what he had and could not just throw money at players he failed...i feel howe would be the same
