The way things are looking with all the young attacking talent at the club it may turn out to be a blessing in disguise that a couple of very expensive signings turned us down in the summer. Plus we should still have money available for any other top class youngsters who want to come and join the party. Maybe we're now following the Borussia Dortmund model with Leicester being bottom of the League
We live in hope but it would also follow that Bamford breaks down again and misses games. Rodrigo fails and Joffy and Gnonto have a field day in front of goal. Perkins and Joseph playing in cups…. Maybe a bit more like last season but the kids firing goals this time. So think I will just sit back and wish that Rodrigo carries on scoring, Bamford gets back to his best and the kids sit on ghe bench waiting patiently for the nod
Another great day for VAR, best league in ghe world with worst refs and VAR. No consistency in either the decisions or interpretation or what gets looked at. Amateur hour
Have to say Doc I’m watching motd here and I can’t agree. Deserved red cards picked up and goals disallowed by inches due to offside. Chelsea lad should have been red carded though
Why would anyone deal with Barcelona? City are still owed £46m from last season when Pep allowed Feran Torres to leave, seems they have missed the next instalment on the payment schedule
When you look at the values of each squad in the premier league you have to make some conclusions. Man City should win the title with a squad valued at £917m. Liverpool should finish 2nd with a squad worth £783m, but down the bottom the relegation teams should be Bournemouth and Forest with squads worth £170m and Fulham with 182m. So thats sorted then. The reality is that if those bottom spenders stay up the manager has made the difference and deserves the credit. 17th is Brighton with a squad value of £222m but they are inside the top 6 so far and Fulham are also well safe so far. So how good is Jesse Marsch because on paper Leeds should finish 14th and be well safe with a squad value of £248m, anything above 14th will show Marsch as being a good coach but anything under will be a fail? Oh and by the way Villa should finish 7th with a value of £450m over £200m more than Leeds. We beat them maybe Gerrard for the chop
Think its all been paid now? Most of the cash was up front with the final instalment due mid September and Radz said in the Hay interview that there was no problems with the payment. He also said he was angry with Barcelona and he made sure before agreeing that they would not be owing us cash because he was worried they could go bust….
A stadium filled beyond its capacity, losing fans invade the pitch, police fire tear gas and 174 fans die and 190 injured. The worst stadium catastrophe in history and not a scouse in sight, but FIFA say a few words instead of taking action….
Orta brought Haaland over to TA to have a look around. The kid knew it well and was very tempted to sign for Orta when he bid £5m for the 17yo. Alfies lad is unplayable wish we had him…
Llorente dropped for Cooper, Kristensen keeps his place with Ayling on the bench, Struijk keeps his place with Firpo on the bench, Rodrigo starts with Paddy on the bench with Gnonto and wheres Joffy?
Brono Lage has been sacked. Wolves have a squad worth £315m and should be in 11th place but near the bottom
On that display both teams are not good enough for the Premier League. Worst game of football since watching Southgates Engerland. Absolute garbage. Ref was garbage and biased, Commentary was garbage and biased. Jesse Marsch is fast losing the shine he showed us earlier in the season for me. Football should be pleasing on the eye that was shyt and no Leeds player did his job proficiently. Rodrigo was looking sharp and unlucky not to score, but he deserved to come off, Harrison was consistently shyt all game and the subs happened too late and whilst we were on the back foot. 2 points lost, peed off, angry….
