The EU, US and Nato have suggested damage to the pipelines between Russia and Germany was deliberate, but have not blamed Russia directly.
Russia has said it was not involved, and asked if the US was instead.
Russia has previously been accused of using gas supplies as a weapon against the West over its support for Ukraine.
The leaks on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines were discovered on Monday and Tuesday.

We all know how cynical Russia is ... thinks the rest of the world is as thick as the perma frost in Siberia, so blowing the pipe line means they have the excuse we cant pump gas because there a hole in it. Maybe open the valves in EU end to bottle the gas in case Russia still pumping it?

Ukranian fighting Ukranian their next cynical manouvre, have been visiting homes and logging who lives there as part of the sham vote gathering, next will be calling up men to fight their relatives! That could turn sour in 2 ways ....
ODESSA has been coming under drone attack for last 3 or 4 nights seeking out ammo dumps [ hit or miss attempts ] but whilst the large stock of anti aircraft missile s from USA supplied systems last out they are sitting ducks [iran drones that is ] 50 down 950 to go !!!!

Up to four million people were asked to vote in the war-torn regions, which make up about 15% of Ukraine's territory.
Refugees scattered across Russia were also able to take part at dozens of polling stations, including in annexed Crimea. Early votes from those areas were said by Russian media to show huge majorities in favour of joining Russia.
Talking point last night was about the referendum totals, nowhere ever [ in other fair (world wide ) non russia controlled votes ] has votes ever been 96-97% .. maybe if a vote was taken in Russia would you like to stay in Russia, or go to another country with freedom and modern amenities it could be below 90%???
There has been an awful lot more traffic of C17'S GLOBEMASTERS C130's etc and other military cargo planes Baltic ports also seen freighters from "other places" off loading
Georgia over 12,ooo waiting to cross into Georgia.. Georgia waiting to join the EU twice been given what more they need to do to comply!
On that subject has the countries needing to vote got their acts together for Sweden and Finland to join NATO? They have partnering defence agreements with some countries and are sort of associate members of NATO so any attack against them would be responded to by NATO... I would think.

today a Joint command AWACS plane flew very close to Blacksea RUSSIA MAINLAND COAST and also across southern area of the Crimea at a height of 40,000ft. returning over southern Ukraine and MOLDOVA and the RUSSIAN ENCLAVE of Transnistra!! Nato 01 and strato tankers along with loads cargo planes and a few Helicopters also very conspicuos. Baltic has seen usual guard rail and a few other Baltic "patrol"
The pakistan military plane has flown over russia / latvia and now over southern Baltic close to Denmark"goes to Luton" or starts off from there going ....homeward journey flies at over 45,000 feet either direction. A second command plane now showing up after patrolling central area Blacksea .....
Russia setting up massive screens to show the annexing of 4 bits of UKRAINE IN RED SQUARE or whatever bit near the kremkin Putrid wont show his face outside now in fear~!!? One has to wonder if other cities getting similar outdoor showing? and I wonder what the risk of a few 00's ... maybe 000's arrests! There is a movement in Russia to do with the Peoples liberattion .. like responsible for the "woman who was killed [ in error? ] maybe they me active? Possibly potential conscripts could swell their number ....
    DISTURBING TIMES AHEAD .............

As a bit of a side note I was just on google earth and they showed a distinct border between Ukraine and Crimea. I heard about a week ago that Putin was arranging a big hoedown to speak to the nation and presumably it will be the announcement of new Russian territory in the form of the 4 areas that voted almost 100% in favour of joining Russia. :emoticon-0136-giggl Voting at the end of a gun will always get you what you want and the 3 that voted in favour need their heads examined. :emoticon-0136-giggl Oops must have been at least 4. :emoticon-0140-rofl: Perhaps all of the Russians lining up at the various border crossings should be given loads of guns and ammo and then told to go back home and only return when they have killed enough of their own to earn a travel visa. Other than my off the wall suggestion what will happen to these folks so eager to leave their homeland? Are they truly anti-Putin, or just draft dodgers who will offer nothing in return for their personal safety? In my world if you want something special you have to realize that something may be required in return, so what is it - stick or twist?

The audience is applauding as each representative is introduced.... clue is why do we really not want you? You sit all the way down there in the cold and I will sit here by the fire.

having had a really deep reading experience today I need a coffee ... never drink coffee, well maybe 6 - 8 cups a year .
Ukraine before the invasion stated with deference to Russia, it would not seek to ever join NATO BUT would likely fall in line with joining EU ... Putrid said wasnt interested in EU ASPECT!.... NOW Ukraine wants fast track into it ... that would mean a massive surge of weaponery and feet on the ground. Although as defense mechanism might work ... NATO troops man all defensive infra structure away from front line mostly air defences? ... with the additional number of flights to Constanta AND LIKE SHIPMENT VIA THE BALTIC .. weaponary must be fairly well stocked
The evil of the illegal / (or Russian army) targeting civilians trying to remove relatives from the unoccupied area of ZAPHORIZA shows they are cynical and not caring about where they spread their terrorism/ commit war crimes.
I half expected Ukraine to unleash a salvo of rockets at ammo dumps troop concentrations in Kherson... even Crimea.
new sanctions, :emoticon-0138-think cant be much less to sanction although where the moneid /oligarch;s can holiday is becoming rather constricted ....
THE SHIPMENT OF WHEAT ETC 3 MONTH PERIOD IS CLOSE TO ENDING.

I'm getting to the point where I want to say let's go at them because no matter what we do or say Putin will continue his assault on the rest of Ukraine, along with other targets. Expecting Putin to relent isn't on the cards and so other ways of hurting him, apart from the obvious hope of someone doing the dirty on him, have to be addressed by all of those wanting the world to return to normalcy. Hitler made the mistake of taking on the Russian bear but at some point in the near future we have to stand up to the beast in the east and beat him at his own game. Putin is borderline insane, much the same as Adolf, and we have to hope that he falls down the same toilet but we need to face the fact that we may have to help him get there. Unless the rest of the world has forgotten the 1930's when the last big land grab was made we face being taken for a ride by allowing a thug to control whatever he wants. My message would be to carry on as normal and forget the threat of what will happen if the attacks on supposed Russian territory continue and call the bluff of this baboon. He wants confrontation at any cost and unless we stop him the world could be plunged into a darkness the like of which has never been seen before. Sad times I fear.

He will be wanting Alaska back next .... apparently is in process of sending the silver dollar they got for it with a note saying " sorry changed our minds,"
MIND YOU what a purchase made $trn's in gold and silver ... also other minerals so likely $ZN's .. then there is the oil and gas [part of the fields Russia is tapping into as well].. what a bargain ... now all that revenue supports arms to Ukraine!
The AWAC's and command centre planes are keeping an eye on Belarus and KALININGRAD! Also TRINISTRIA wonder if any of the latter have been called up.

latest estimates from the varying media sources are that somewhere like 215,000 have left Russia... maybe closer to 300,000 counting females and kids.

There are dozens of crossing points around Russia borders [ mountain land without roads but tracks etc none if any with Russian border patrols. Friends in 2019 went to Kazakstan for 3 months ... spent 2 weeks in Russia... by accident .. took a left down a valley from a mountain ridge to soon and after 9 days of wild hiking and exploring came across a shepherd of goats and sheep .. who said Kazakstan that way over the mountain!!!! took 6 days to cover 40 km .... Shepherd sold them 2 legs of mutton .. wanted something like £2 they gave him equiv of a £5 so gave them about 5 kgs of rice! they made it to a main well road anyway took them to nearby town to regroup. 9 happy souls!

LYMAN VICTORY ....................The battlefield setback prompted the Chechen leader and hardline Moscow ally, Ramzan Kadyrov, to comment that Russia should consider using low-yield nuclear weapons in the face of such defeats.
This IS the geezer butcher of Syria Putrid put in charge AFTER SACKING THE PREVIOUS General who didnt do enough at the time of Mariupol... he was supposed to bring fear to the front take massive swathes of territory ....
What's the betting he is the one attacking the civiilians... did it in Syria .. used chemicals then! Now saying use Nuclear [ has a 1 to 2 sq mile radius of total eradication ] imagine .. equivalent to Portishead disapearing in a single blast!

Reading [or doing more research] I have seen why the area of the Donbas is so important to Putrid... a inhuman ... who is ruled by money and wealth. Part of my hobby is "geology" and this area of Ukraine really is rich in mineral resources [ known fact is it is a intense mining area and vast heavy industrial area, like South Wales was 100 years ago ]. But some of the potential is mind boggling it has coal/iron/water [ just like S Wales ] and other rare minerals some of which are sparsely spread over the globe [ only my interpretation based on some notes found ] one written source found stated likely some of the rarest minerals on the planet! will say no more as my research has not been deep enough

I watched a clip of Putin speaking to a very select audience in a very large hall yesterday and couldn't help but notice the very luke warm reception his speech received. The assembled crowd looked thoroughly disinterested and the looks on their faces told a story for me in that the audience were just going through the motions of accepting his hate ridden speech. Still many stories to be told I suspect.

yep hence an attempt at my "cartoonism" didnt want to use bad language!

Apparently amongst the soldiers surrendering were a load of Wagner mercenaries! whether to fight another day? or just gave up!!! ... the rules of these fighters is die or dont come back.... 1 problem they have Ukranians is the number of snipers well ensconced and often behind them!! Apparently according to a colleague a number of the Russian snipers are women??? ... LIKELY men haters?
been very quiet today.. only a couple trails to Blacksea and a P8 off the west coast UK PROBABLY monitoring Russian subs ... need to know where they all are ...........just in case

A large number of snipers in WW2 were women and I think one particular one was the best of all. In regard to the location of subs I wonder if we have the capability of destroying any missile launched from this platform as soon as it leaves the tube? I hope they build their missiles in the Lada factory which is well known for shoddy products, and I have a sneaking feeling that much of this world class military they are supposed to offer may be not up to snuff. All of this threatening behaviour from Putin is intended to get some push back and I hope it comes from within rather than what might be needed from the West.

Back in the late 70's Manitoba Hydro took a Russian built system to produce electricity in exchange for Canadian wheat but sadly the thing had to be thrown away very quickly, as it was useless. Hopefully the missiles they possess might be of the same quality - rubbish!
