I read the post as being a slight against Hartlepool. Hence my reply.
I am fully aware that there was a name change, Jeff Spelling, a huge fan, was at great pains to tell us.
    But Cloughie managed Hartlepools United.
    <cheers>

Yes - Cloughie was there in the mid-1960s before moving to Derby County <cheers>

I read it that someone who was shown the door by Hartlepool is good enough for our friends up the road <ok>

<laugh> You couldn't make it up! I know a Watford season ticket holder and they're quite dizzy by the manager merry-go-round.

I played golf with a Watford season ticket holder today and even he couldn't understand the timing for this one.

Nice to see the obsession from you guys runs deep enough for you to dedicate a thread to our manager search.... you could have just popped over and commented on our thread you know!?

You boys really shouldn't refer out to the CCFC Forum as a source of what the real fans think by the way.... that's like quoting Wales Online or the Daily Star as a reliable source :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Most of us are rather perplexed at the sacking and only a few of our fans anticipate/want Parker, a lot of us can't stand him. Odds are we'll give the job to Mark Hudson as it's the cheap option but still provides a bit of continuity for the squad....

You need to get more stuff going into your joke/comedy club thread BTW, that's my main reason for passing through your boards...

I read the post as a slight against Hartlepool, so I didn't read it wrong, it was my interpretation, but nobody died.

You could be right re Stelling.

Weirdly no, I haven't as I don't recall buying anything from them.....

Got any new records to play yet?

Do you want me to respond as Cardiff fans normally do??? Shall I mention administration, businesses not getting paid etc?

As I tried to say to you previously Vetch... Stop trying to use a tragic accident and the deaths of two people to try score petty points. It's genuinely getting tiresome.

Or are you really such a lowlife as to want to keep it going?

Oh and this coming from a fan of a club that is a massive 1 point better off and who's fans appear to want their board sacked off and pretty much every manager sacked...

Our club may have a habit of shooting itself in the foot (if we can get that shot on target) but at least our fans aren't a joke like your lot!

Oh and if this is referring to me, I'm still here butt, just had a busy day at work.

I don't expect a heather selling, peg stealer like you to understand that concept.

Thanks for your kind words. Your moronic abuse goes over my head.

You, i.e., CARDIFF CITY, still haven't honoured the contract with Nantes despite being directed to do so on at least two occasions.

" Administration " happens, and it is now history.

Pretending Sala was never a Cardiff player is just about as low as any Club could go.

Low, even by your low standards.

    Have a super evening.

Sigh, do we REALLY need to explain things to you again?

As is the case so often in cases such as this there are appeals, more appeals and yet MORE appeals.

NO business would want to pay up for the loss of an asset (for sadly that is what players are to clubs these days) if that loss was caused by others and beyond their control.

Now, beyond you obsessing about this matter, I notice you completely fail to mention that Cardiff City football club were not at fault for the disaster.

You also fail to mention the fund the club set up for Emiliano's family.

For what it's worth, my personal take on all this should have been that both Nantes and Cardiff should have come to some sort of arrangement and then gone after the REAL culprits in this whole sordid saga, but sadly businesses don't operate like that...
Much the same way that businesses go bust and have to short change other businesses as a result... It's sad but it happens.

But of course, your brilliant legal mind is concentrated purely on the payment and these other aspects (rightly from a legal perspective) have no bearing on the proceedings brought by Nantes so I see why you'd choose to push them to one side.

Can you do me a favour though? Could you pop me a direct message with all the legal papers, court transcripts etc? You obviously have some great insight into this beyond the sensationalist headlines and stuff on the BBC.

Glad my moronic abuse got your attention by the way... I felt a little sick dropping to your level but sometimes that's what you need to do when dealing with purile people.

Now, I'm off for the rest of the evening, I honestly have better things to do.

Oh and apologies to the rest of the Swans on here.. the majority of you are decent folk who know where to draw the line. It's just unfortunate that you have a John Hughes equivalent here that sullies your boards. :emoticon-0148-yes:
