In the WC I reckon we'll scrape through the group, just . Out in the q/fs to whomever we play. Then Southgate goes and ANOther arrives.

Thought Bowen might have got some playing time on the left as he is naturally left footed.

The momentum that has been lost. There is real talent but no tactics, plan B and picking the right players don’t get me started.

If that's true, he played really well with Covid.

Similar problems us. The high press has found out this passing around the back tactic. And like us it ends up most of the time with a long ball upfield.

Man city and pep invented this tactic, then bought the players in who could carry it out.

Man City don’t do it slowly though it’s all 1 or 2 touches maximum.

England tend to start slowly, then fade.

Poor game that had an all too familiar feel to it. England have become predictable especially if you close them down. A bunch of talented Individual’s brainwashed into playing it safe out the back and then panicking when they get closed down.

    Sound familiar?

I thought we'd got over Kane taking corners, but who on earth suggested James should take a free kick on the edge of their box? If that's Southgate or Holland, then the games up. James is a donkey.

If true I would never want to see Grealish in an England shirt again

James playing, Trent Arnold on the bench. It just does not make sense.

I know I’ll get slated for this, but watching Scotland the other night they ground out a win against a very good Ireland team. We could really do with somebody like Steve Clarke, he did very well at West Brom and was unfortunate at Reading which, at the time, were a complete basket case of a club.
He took Kilmarnock from the bottom of the SPL to Europe and somehow got a struggling Scotland side to their first major tournament for 24 years.

He gets teams fighting and battling, which we do neither of at the moment. He doesn’t play the prettiest football, which is why I know he won’t be considered (that and he’s got a decent gig with Scotland), but he’d be ideal.

Managers like that won’t succeed with this group of players as they don’t do that side of the game

He was very well thought of during his stint as assistant to Mourinho at Chelsea too.

Decent Manager but wouldn't get a look in for the England job...He speaks his mind!
