I'd like to apologise for comments in Bullard thread #268. I was out of line to generalise the city as a whole, and I'd like to apologise for my extremely (and unnecessary) anti-Hull comments. Hull is a great city and one am I proud to say I come from (as any of my colleagues would tell you). Of course what we all want is for Hull to be a successful city and for it to house a successful football club, we just all think it should happen in different ways, which is the beauty of a forum. Furthermore I would like to extend my apologies to Craig in Nottingham, whilst I disagree with you on most footballing issues, where you choose to live and work is nothing to do with me and I shouldn't have commented on it.
Fair play to you.I , as much as anyone , have made comments that I have regretted. Offering Doveston out was not a high point , but we live and learn. To come out with such an open apology is a credit to you .
It's NFUNo2 by the way . I've had some kind of mini identity crisis tonight and gone for a new look .
didnt see what you where putting last night, but cant argue with that apology i dont think, ..hope the people involved are big enough to accept it .
i never saw what was written but fair play to you for apologising at least it shows that you know when you are wrong by any chance was alcohol involved in it or just decided to be a huge dick for the night?
I thought he was a 20 year old student so don't understand the colleagues part, fair play to him for apologising anyway, no matter if he isn't who he says he is.
Nah, he's a Troll who likes to roleplay on internet forums as different characters. Personally I think hes mid 40s and works in a low paid service sector job and has a grudge against anyone who's achieved anything in life. This thread smacks of attention seeking. He's the internet equivelant of the vaccuous attention seekers on crap like that Essex program and whatever else this thread is, it isn't genuine.
Thanks for the apology, but to be honest your comments about where I live didn't really bother me, it was more the things you said about the people in Hull, but fair play you've now apologised for that too. I'm more than happy to give people another chance even if they have as much baggage as you, but I base that on actions and not words and to be honest the vast majority of your posts so far seem to be designed to wind people up, hence the reason you are labelled a WUM. Your views on Hull City put you in a minority of one and everyone has a right to their own opinions but on a social forum like this we also have an obligation to listen and possibly even be influenced by other peoples opinions. Unfortunately that's your biggest flaw. You seem to have a completely closed mind that can't be penetrated even when you are faced with contrary facts to your opinions and the definition of that is arrogance. You don't have to listen to me but that is the reason you're so unpopular and if you started listening instead of just talking people might start listening to you. Anyway like everyone else I'll be watching this space.
If this is a joke, crawl back in your cave (not the one next door to mine please). If you are being genuine, good chap, keep it up and stop being a miserable bugger! We're all here to debate a team we love, and while people will differ on opinion, there is no need to oppose everyone elses opinions. I am sure after all, that we all want the best for this club, including you no matter some of the things you say. We have seen some decent posts with valid points raised by you in the past but sadly you seem to have deteriorated into a diarrhoea turd in recent weeks. There's nothing wrong with being pessimistic and realistic but there's a line where you turn into an anti-social bellend, so try not to cross that line and everyone will be happy!
He's working in Leeds. Can't remember if he said it was a placement year as part of his course or just an offer that was worth taking a gap from/leaving the course he was on. As for last night, I only saw the early bits so I'm assuming from the fact he's apologising that it went further because I've made similar comments about the mentality in Hull on here in the past without there being any fall out. eg in and around Hull kids in Y11 are asking each other if they're staying on for VIth form (ER schools) or college, rather than are they dropping out, which makes leaving school at 16 seem the norm and staying on the socially unusual. Maybe it's just delivery, or people read his posts and not mine.
Tis a shame Ricardo doesn't add anything to this. Honestly, if anyone believes ANYTHING TWF has ever posted about himself....I despair...he really is a classic troll with an online identity that's not real.
I'll rephrase it for you then without any comment on the actuality of what is being said. There's no inconsistency in the posts from TWF previously saying he's a student and now saying he has colleagues. He said over the summer he was going to be working in Leeds which was a change from being in Sheffield at uni as declared last year. I don't remember the basis on which he said he was making the move, but saying he has colleagues is consistent with his previously declared statuses and this should clear up any confusion. And yes, I did just make up the word actuality, but it's probably previously been made up by someone arranging a management practices seminar.
Don't apologise for that Ricardo, I hear that word a fair bit My references to him go way back, right through all his various names he's had. He's a Walter Mitty with a penchant for trying to elicit a reaction from anyone he can.
I hate all the made up jargon that's just there to confuse people who aren't in on the secret code. I find it amusing though if I come across someone who insists on talking like that to just make up a similar sounding word and put it into one of my sentences and explain it's the latest thing to be coming out from america and we're all going to be using the principal soon without explaining what the principal is. You can see them worrying because they don't know what it is but they daren't admit it.
It's principle btw. *giggle* Yeah, marketing speak and consultancy speak makes me sad inside every time I hear it.
