Takeover (Covid-19/20)

I'm pleased we have new sports scientists and physios !! We've bloody needed them way too much for my liking after such a small number of games.

 

There's been alot of negativity and impatience and unfortunately no matter what happens that will never end.

In about 20 years the fans will be upset they haven't won anything in a few years and not scoring enough goals or something.

The struggles will be forgotten completely.

They're already forgotten for me, mate. They bought the club, set expectations of a league win within 5-10 years or something, so that's the bar. Stunted progress, as we've seen this season, is then open to criticism. But that's life. The bar gets higher. The fact our bar was lowered year on year for 14 years has become irrelevant overnight.

 

But you're complaining after only 7 games in to a 5-10 year plan. And we're not even struggling, just mid-table and only lost once. I don't get why you call it stunted progress. No, it's not been perfect, but that is why they set the expectations at 5-10 years, not 5-10 games. It will take time and won't be a smooth ride.

Compare the first 7 games (8 including cups) this season vs this time last year and you cannot call it stunted progress.

I get the feeling even if you won the lotto jackpot you'd still complain because it wasn't a tripple rollover week.
