Well, he doesn’t need to be dethroned. People near him need to stop obeying him, and that ‘crazy’ moment might be the spur - in Russia there are 4 people who need to agree to send missiles off. I don’t know if that’s the same for the States, or if Truss could launch them on her own if she wants. Or Macron, or Modi or Xi , or whoever head up Pakistan and Israel. I’m pretty sure Kim can do what he wants.

    Will this sleaze never end.

Liz Truss has given her full support to the No 10 chief of staff, Mark Fullbrook, after it emerged he was questioned as a witness as part of a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) inquiry into alleged bribery in Puerto Rico.

Truss’s spokesperson said she was backing Fullbrook, who is not travelling with her to the UN general assembly in New York this week.

But the prime minister herself declined to say whether she had been told about his cooperation with the FBI before his appointment, saying only that it had gone through the “proper process”.

I'd say the likelihood of China taking him out is higher than that of inside his own camp. They've already told him the war doesn't look good and its not going to plan. I can't see them standing idly by for much longer if things escalate further.

There are all kinds of protocols in place both here and in the States to prevent a 'rogue' launch.
Pretty sure most nuclear states would have the same.
Not sure about the more dodgy ones though.
I'm not sure what NATO would do if Putin launches a tactical nuke.
It's a fine line between retaliation and full scale nuclear war.

He'd be an international pariah and I doubt even India or China would buy energy resources from him. The economic noose would tighten, and Russian opposition would be heavily funded to start armed uprising.

Just heard Teresa Coffey just say that the lack of GPs, Pharmacists, and Nurse Practitioners can be recruited from the unemployed population.

    Is she real ..

So obviously if you are ill don't go to A&E, go to your unemployment centre

What if I stub my toe?
What if the pub runs out of beer?
What if an asteroid hits the Uxbridge Road?
Christ almighty let’s all live in fear of what hasn’t happened. Why not try and sort out the problems we have actually got rather than invent new ones to worry about?

Jacob Rees Mogg to change definition of what an earthquake is to enable fracking in Britain to be commercially viable.

Bet they don’t do much of this in Sussex and Dorset, two big reservoirs of shale gas there and lots of Tory voters.

Well most likely the problem now is that it is not just Putin, but also the politicians and military leaders around him now, not invented new ones. Personally I'm not living in fear of Putin or what you have gone off on one about, as like flying on an airplane there's f*** all I can do about it anyway.

You're right, Putin has deliberately surrounded himself with hardliners, some more hardline than he is. So if Putin went, there is likely to be a power struggle between the hawks and the doves. Given the Russian people's apparent approval of "strong leaders" who knows who they might end up with.

The recent exchange of prisoners gives some hope that Putin is playing a stick and carrot game, in the hope of a settlement. So his nuclear talk is him trying to make his stick look bigger.

Catholics now outnumber Protestants in Northern Ireland for the first time. This, coupled with Sinn Fein's recent political gains and the fact the NI voted to remain in the EU, must surely mean a united Ireland is just around the corner.

The interesting thing is, a number of Catholics don't necessarily want to become part of the Republic. Post GFA and cessation of hostilities, they have good quality of life. And with immigration, there are now those in NI that are neither Catholic or Protestant

Seems St Chris wasn't a Saint after all. Nevermind Khan taking the family's side...
