The Flintstones (like most Hanna Barbera cartoons) is just inspired.
I prefer Betty to Wilma. Wilma seems like a real nag.
Pebbles was obviously going to grow up to be a diva.
    But Dino ran the show

Fantastic series not so keen on the remakes but the original is one of the best detective series on TV.

Technically they're all the original (barring Young Montalbano) as they're all one series, albeit one that lasted twenty years as RAI only made three episodes a year

That being said, the later episodes did start getting overly tropey, with Catarella becoming an outright buffoon while there was a period where each episode boiled down to "Will Montalbano boink this week's female guest character?" during the period where Livia was written out of the show

And, on the subject of gripping European police drama...

Rather gentle 'Sunday evening' TV but I did quite enjoy it

The fact you still refer to it as a hi fi shop confirms this <laugh>

I think my first recollection of TV was Bod.
Then it was all downhill from there…

Part of the fun watching the series is looking out for Colin Dexter the writer who like Alfred Hitchcock appears in every episode
