I agree, the second series is still very good, but suffers without Callum Turner (Soldier Boy), the story line lacks the edge he brought to the screen.

Still enjoyable but agree, security minister is a bit of a loose cannon as well.

Try Netflix (if you get it) Rouge Agent, no spoiler but it's edgy and a true story.

I think Bosch is class and I read they were considering an episode with both Bosch and Micky Haller in.

It happens in the books so no reason why it shouldn't happen on TV series.

I haven't got there far through the books yet Trunk music book 5 was my last, the bloke in found dead in his boot after coming back from Vegas.

His Dad was dealt with different in the books to the TV series as was his mother's murder, much preferred how the books version of both.

House Of The Dragon is off to a very decent start. I know people might be put off by the dreadful conclusion to Game Of Thrones but it's worth your time.

Just watched the Sex Pistols biopic series by Danny Boyle. Johnny Rotten didn't like it, apparently, but I thought it was really good. Some good performances in it although it was a bit weird because the ****ing irritating kid from Love Actually was playing Malcolm McLaren.

Only three episodes so it is quite short. Crazy though.

Just started watching Bad Sisters on Apple TV - very funny and quite dark. Claes Bang is excellent as "The Prick"

Has anyone come up with anything worse than Miranda?

I have just read a series of Books by Mick Herron about the British Intelligence Services its supposed to be coming up on one of the streaming channels... could be good.

I'd rather watch Miranda than Mrs Brown's boys but I wouldn't be happy about it.

If I was brutally whipped into making the choice I think I'd rather face further flogging.

The magnificence of Westminster Abbey reminded me of another great series I'd forgotten about

    The Pillars of the Earth

Absolutely loved it having already read the book by Ken Follett.

Never watched it, but the books are right up there with the best things I have ever read.

I remember years ago someone who knew I liked the books telling me to watch them but didn't have all this syreaming at the time. Might have to see if they are available anywhere.
