With Jorge Mendes syphoning in every top young Portuguese player, Lena Zavarone could have managed that club.

WTF is he doing? Then the big donkey pretends he's been fouled! Bloody hell -if I was Mcloughlin I'd be hammering Shota's door down

This disaster falls on the manager, but he is not wholly responsible... its at all levels from management, to coaching to seemingly fitness experts... Shota is the one who will carry the can, thats how the cookie crumbles... hence Dawson would be a ridiculous appointment.

Yes it would. His temporary spell (spells?) in charge of Scunthorpe didn't go too well as I recall. We need someone with more experience

I doubt it, he knows full well a PREM team will come knocking this season. I'd be very happy to be proved wrong though

He's probably waiting for Forest to hit the panic button - Cooper has built up a lot of credit, but fans and owners have short memories - especially when owners have spent £150M plus

Our transfer policy despite what acun and tan say was scatter gun at best. I don’t believe we got all our preferred targets. Had it been structured we’d have signed a decent centre back, 3 of our current back 4 conceded poor goals in l1. Figs hasn’t improved us. Shota will carry the can for this, however I believe we should be showing signs of a team that’s improving, we aren’t looking any better than a terry/Ehab team. As much as I wanted it to work for shota…it isn’t

"I won't talk much in the meeting, I will listen." No point overdoing it, just take the money and let the players sort out the mess. He' s not a leader of men like Captain Mainwaring, more a dithering Godfrey.

We should have built a core to the team during this window. A couple of CBs, a couple of CMs and a couple of decent strikers; a 9 and a 10. Letting those already on the periphery leave, whilst still ensuring the remaining squad can compete for a place in the starting 11 (I'm thinking the likes of Honeyman and Smallwood, who would still do a job for us...), not being cast aside like they were. Of course losing KLP would have thrown a spanner in those works. But wholesale changes like we've seen is always a recipe for disaster.

It's possible that by doing so we still wouldn't have made the top 6, but we'd be a damn sight more competitive than what we're seeing right now.

    Clusterfuck.

The whole of Turkey can watch all they want to be honest. The main concern should be the locals who pay the Club money to watch, some regulars home and away...

Long journeys to the 4 corners of the Country to watch what's being served up is a long hard slog given what's happening on the pitch. If the Club has been ripped apart in order to appease the Turkish Twitterati then it's fundamentally wrong on so many levels.

I said it at the time and it's ringing true...Don't mix friendship and business,it doesn't work!!
