Thought I'd had a bad day but that's a whole lot of ****e mate.
I had pals down from Glasgow they wanted to watch a game so we went to see Newcastle play Barnsley (I think)
Remember coming out of the ground and the burger man shouting "its ****ing 8 now" and the hole street going mad.
Then had to endure a night out in Newcastle

    cheers again RTB...

as i said before, watford (against boro) looked a real threat when attacking and probably looked like they had one of the best attacks in the league from the games i have watched so this one worried me a tad, that said, they seem to be struggling a bit and if sarr is out that is a huge part of their threat gone, i have no idea how they will play without him but my impressions was their game was all about getting the ball in to him with little to no other options whereas we tended to play the ball to LND as well as pass the ball around so no striker meant we did very little to change our game.

if they have a replacement or know how to play without sarr then we could have a very good game on our hands...as with any away game i would be happy with a draw, if we can play at the same tempo as reading we stand a chance of another good result, if the boro 'attitude' returned we will struggle.

    HA'WAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM

Spoke to a mag I know down here yesterday and he even conceded we were good last game :)
    Yeah he's a nice bloke <laugh>

I'm really happy where we have come of late and the potential.
Happy days, we're not in the premier league but we are looking like a very good championship side and that'll do for me right now.
    Cooooomon.

All about consistency. Come on boys, keep on playing well/hard, no room for cockiness or complacency.
Would be so great to hit the break on a high and come back fresh for stage two of the league

Thanks RTB great thread as always. Looking forward to this one and to catching up with friends. Hopefully the lads are confident but not overly. Will be a really hard game. I’d take a point but have a sneaky feeling we might just get the 3. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

We tend to concede very early and have to try and get something out of the game after that. I don’t think it’ll be that choice of two responses you suggest. We’ve worked hard, but our formation is inept and it feels like we’re playing with ten men. If you see three at the back, you’re in for a good day. And I think you will.

    Safe journey down. <ok>

Just shows how up to date I am, I thought it was the World Cup. Didn’t realise it was only a fortnight. When’s the World Cup then?

Some daft internationals, pal. Absolutely pointless with a World Cup in two months and **** loads of games before then.

    enjoy your game again today

We should play with no fear, if we play like we did against Reading we will beat Watford. I can see another hatful of goals, 0-3 again. Patterson looks confident and pretty assured at the moment and our back line will make sure he is well protected. Another clean sheet for me.
