Yeah he seems to be on form at the moment
    He’s not a young kid he’s 21 in February
Some of our first team are younger maybe it’s time for him to be given a chance

Reading some of the Watford fans forum... they are pessimistic and think hey might lose...

Let's hope that is the case and a strikerless Sunderland can continue Wednesday excellent performance.
It would be good if Pritchard can start to get among the goals, he plays in and around the penalty area and finding the back of the net would be timely!

They have conceded first in their last five games, the manager slated them mid-week so they either come out all guns blazing or down tools. Hopfully we score the first goal and push on. <cheers>

I think they have only won 1 out of their last 6 league games, so not in great form. They are there for the taking.

Until Wednesday I wouldn’t have given us a chance away at Watford. If we play like we did then I can’t see us losing.

    Going for 1-2 anarl.

From my woeful memory we don't have a great record there, I remember an 8-0 in the 80s. I'd be very happy with a draw. Could go either way.

Sorry for starting with a negative lads but they will have seen our goals and my concern is they will kick lumps out of us and hoping to disjoint our fab football. Hopefully we suffer no injuries.
We need a decent ref imo.
Back to the positives we simply have too much for them, even allowing for our injuries. We have youth pace camaraderie and a will to give a 100% and win .
Highly unlikely but if Simms is out I would stick young Bennett between Clarke n Roberts. The pace and skill there would be terrifying for big plodding defenders.
    1-4 to the cuddlies.
    Once again cheers RTB.

PS, just seen who the ref is. O9 to be carded guaranteed. Hopefully just a yellow.

Cheers @RTB top draw as usual

Watched Watford a few times this year and cant work out why they are struggling for results
They have some fabulous individual players. Joao Pedro and Sarr look outstanding
(massive bonus if Sarr is out)
They will be a real handful and at some point I expect them to click as a team. Hopefully not tomorrow
Would stick with the team we had when Simms went off.
They look weak down the flanks. If we are up for it again I think our wingers can tear into them
    2-0 win to the lads

Watched the Reading game last night and can't imagine Watford will sit off us as they did so our back 4 will get a bigger test tomorrow.
Expecting nothing less than a tough game and any positive result will do me.HTL.

Speaking in today’s pre-match press conference, the Head Coach provided an update on Simms who limped off at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
"It was a little bit inconclusive - it's his big toe. It's really player management on that, it's about how he feels when he's out on the grass,” he said.
"That's why he's going to put his boots on and if it feels fine, he'll turn a jog into a run, and from there to a sprint, and until he does that, we'll have to see how he gets on.
“He'll have a jog about on the grass today and we'll wait and see.
“If the worst comes to worst and he can't make the game tomorrow, we've got a break for two weeks and I'm sure he'll be fine after that.
“It's not all doom and gloom if Ellis doesn't make tomorrow - we scored three goals without him on the pitch on Wednesday night. We have to find a way"
