For all the injury problems we have not seen the manager being able to use any tactics or formation which suit the players he has available his tactical solutions have been woeful. Hope the next game is his last regardless of result

Not sure what to expect, it's very much a work in progress. Very unfortunate that Tetteh got injured as Oscar and they were just starting to work well together. No doubt Allahyar missing also is a big loss also. It looks as if there might be one or two changes, good to hear that Pelkas probably will start as he looks quality. But we have to shore up the defensive side. Going for a 2-2 draw and would be happy with that.

I see Acun already in Wales, must be there early to rally the troops.

Defensively as a team not just the defence as to be miles better, would be great to get a point but I’m afraid the way we are conceding goals I see nothing but another defeat.

Shota just said on Humberside that the message from Acun was 'to go and be brave and do whatever is required to get the energy back'.

Sounds like he has faith in Shota and is not there early to meet him off the bus with his P45.

I have a gut feeling that Shota will give himself a reprieve with a win. No idea of the score line so I’ll just go with 1 - 3 to The Glorious Tigers.

Let’s just do a Burnley , score first at least . They don’t seem a physical side but they probably will be now and they will be expected to be expansive , leaving gaps .
    1-1

Do you think there’s more pressure on shota for a better performance because it’s on tv?
I’m thinking from the acun factor and his fanfare

We're always **** on the tele... Better performance, they sneak a win, we go back to stupid formations and setup after the break because we lost this game...

    I’d go for:

    Baxter
    Coyle McLoughlin Greaves Elder

    Jones Seri
    Longman Tufan Pelkas

    Oscar
Subs: hopefully including Vale and Simons.

Probably would be harsh not to play Slater but Jones always looks half decent as a DM and he gives us some height in the middle instead of two dwarves.

Although both Greaves and Macca are left footed I would go with this line up. I said elsewhere, I would have Alfie at DM.

Yeah plenty of teams play with two right footed centre halves so in theory it could work.

Agreed, but you could drop Seri for Salter and bring Seri on for Tufan when he tires

I fancy us to bounce back and get at least a point
last 2 games been poor , and its always easy to get too carried away with how "****" we are.
but most games have had bright patches , still getting players back and up to fitness so i don't think its quite as bad yet as been made out.
1-2 victory, Greaves first goal and milkybars on me!
