    I would go:

    4-3-3

    Baxter
    Christie Jones Greaves Mcloughlin
    Tufan Seri Slater
    Pelkas Estupinan Vale

I’m sure it won’t be anything like that, but I’ve been ruthless and dropped who I believe haven’t been good enough. Although I do rate Woods, I can’t drop any of the midfield 3.

The midfield 3 is the issue.

It’s not controlling the game nor is it protecting the defence.

I don’t believe in controlling the game. Possession stats are bollocks. We had 65% against Stoke.

The defence is there to protect the goalkeeper. They shouldn’t need protecting.

I also feel that those 3 are fantastic passers, and will create plenty of chances.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Suddenly the positive vibes are abandoning me and heading south for the coming winter. That said we'll probably turn them over. The Jacks seem as desperate as us for a positive result.

    Ingram
    Coyle Jones Greaves Elder
    Slater Doch(or Simons)
    Pelkas Tufan Vale
    Estupinan

Hard to leave Seri out but the main focus should be creating a solid foundation and boosting morale and confidence from the back upwards.

I think we'll get beat, but it sounds like we're going to at least change the system and go for something less open. A draw is doable, though.

We definitely do better against sides who dominate the ball keeping us in shape better so could be a good game to start abit of turnaround before the 2 week break that allows us to get some players back fit

Shota has had weeks to sort it out. Doubt he is going to do it in a couple of days.
