Embo might be better suited to a deeper role. Very good technical player but not sure he is a 10. Not having a go at him, he has been superb since coming on, really good, maybe that's his best position in the 8 role?

The best thing about tonight is we won away with ease but reckon we still had a few more gears to go. Everyone played well, really impressed with the 4 subs. Amad played really well and Bennette looks so exciting

It’s telling that we started to play well when the ‘big man’ went off and he we had to play it on the deck.

Most pleasing thing for me is two of the players I’d previously doubted - Neil and Alese - were both brilliant.

Oh that and the world class goals

Someone once said, Its a funny old game...

A scrappy game, then Simms goes off injured, Roberts scores 2 great goals, Clarke scores a classic team goal.. we win 0-3...

Is that the blueprint for the next few games if we are without Simms and Stewart

Well you've got to say our policy of signing talented youngsters has been a good one, look where it's got us after all those years of ****e. Really enjoyable game and the thing is that we're only just getting started, always going to be like that with a young squad.

Thought Bennette showed some clear signs of ability, pace and quality control.
