I mean Leeds is obviously a cluster **** of a club when it comes to decision making. We released David Seaman because he was never going to make it as a pro and we had a young John Lukic who was clearly the better player. We let Dennis Irwin go as a youngster. This is a subject I clash with our fans on, those always calling on us to promote, who they think, are our future. Sad truth is none of the players we've let leave have gone on to have a 'great' career (Stanislas made it to the prem, but that's about it). That's mainly due to the rules meaning we have to fight with Chelsea, Arsenal & Tottenham (plus the other London clubs). Cullen may make it, but he's 26 and been gone 3 years. Reece Oxford gone for 6 but now starting to show his earlier promise, we simply can't wait that long. Not counting Lampard, Cole, Defoe, Johnson or Carrick as they weren't really let go for not being good enough. Looking forwards to seeing the list the Chelsea fans have. will they choose, Rice? Salah? De Bruyne?
