Yeah Jaap Stam was let go too early as well, albeit for financial reasons to balance the books.

Wes Brown would have been here for life if he wasn’t made of *** ash as well.

Sir Wesley Brown, best right back in the league at one point and it wasn't even his natural position. Achieved more in one season playing there than Trent could ever dream of.

Wes couldn’t ping a pass 20 yards in front of Mo Salah though so Trent is the better full back.

Even Trent can't do that anymore mate.

3 assists in past 29 games.

That last straw being clutched for him, broken. Utterly useless now.

I mean Leeds is obviously a cluster **** of a club when it comes to decision making.

We released David Seaman because he was never going to make it as a pro and we had a young John Lukic who was clearly the better player.

We let Dennis Irwin go as a youngster. Not only that but we rang up and tried to buy him back in the early 90's from Man utd. They said no but enquired about Cantona......

A more recent one that should cheer everyone up. Erling Haaland wanted to come to Leeds when he was at Molde in Norway. We are his boyhood club. Our **** of a chairman at the time Cellino wouldn't pay the extortionate price he was being offered for. The fee? £4 million.

    Marcus Edwards.

And knowing our luck, he’ll show why tomorrow night when we play Sporting.

This is a subject I clash with our fans on, those always calling on us to promote, who they think, are our future. Sad truth is none of the players we've let leave have gone on to have a 'great' career (Stanislas made it to the prem, but that's about it). That's mainly due to the rules meaning we have to fight with Chelsea, Arsenal & Tottenham (plus the other London clubs).
Cullen may make it, but he's 26 and been gone 3 years. Reece Oxford gone for 6 but now starting to show his earlier promise, we simply can't wait that long.
Not counting Lampard, Cole, Defoe, Johnson or Carrick as they weren't really let go for not being good enough.

Looking forwards to seeing the list the Chelsea fans have. will they choose, Rice? Salah? De Bruyne?

The one that gets me is De Bruyne. Salah wasn't good enough at that time.

If only you had Mane, then he would've been.
