This is hands down the best take so far. Football is called off to keep The Guardian readers happy. Priceless.
Quite simple in my view - some people will either want the match cancelled out of respect - others won't - those that wanted it cancelled and it isn't, might find it disrespectful and even offensive if it goes ahead - conversely if it is cancelled, the people who didn't want it cancelling won't find it disrespectful or offensive merely an inconvenience or a stupid decision - therefore I think on balance the decision was made to postpone the fixtures - everyone is entitled to their own view and you can never please everyone but I think it went along the path of least resistance and people should just accept it - move on
I see Brady’s mates have been busy. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/celtic-the-queen-ultras-football-27953723
More than one allegedly thicko. Although one is one too many even if you find it an acceptable number.
Don’t think they wanted to take the risk of one idiot at one stadium in one incident shaming the sport internationally. The media would have a field day.
Have you got out of bed the wrong side today Ben? You're unusually disruptive for a Saturday morning,do carry on making a fool of yourself.
Whether right or wrong, the decision has been made and the match is off. I'll leave this open to give people a chance to have a conversation about it, but if it continues as it has this morning, it'll be locked.
Why not look at the spark. I gave a measured response to a post. I will respond to the idiots whether people like it or not.
