There isn't anything between them at all and the grass isn't always greener. The issue for us atm isn't your GK and we shouldn't be trying to fix something that isn't broken ( the fact he's been one of our best players so far this season just makes it even more pointless ). Baxter will get his chance at some point this season I've mentioned the Baxter Vs Ingram discussion to a few fellow ex keepers and people who how been to watch us on a professional basis this season and they are all baffled as to why it's even being discussed. Ingram is seen as one of the best keepers in the division from those outside the club and one of the most inform so far this season.... It's interesting to see how those outside the club/!not a fan see things ( Baxter is also rated very highly may I add and most made the comment along the lines that when you add in Cartwright, Robinson and the new lad, we have probably the strongest GK stable in the league )
Not much longer. Shota knows we have a problem. Its not ingram by the way, but baxter could be the fix. Also i think mcloughlin deserves a chance, both jones and fig need a rest. So back to 433.
Absolutely not. If you think our losses are down to a keeper, I mean, do you watch the rest of the team?
Hull fans always need a scapegoat. Now is probably the time for a change, but Itll be interesting to see if those calling for Ingram are as a quick to call for Baxter when he makes mistakes..... Just have a think where we'd be points wise if Ingram hadn't played so well earlier in the season
Our defence looked far better with Baxter behind them, he seems to inspire more confidence and his distribution is better. It's that, rather than a couple of mistakes, that most of us think is why he should be starting.
It's a squad game, if players make mistakes then yes, but Ingram has been decidedly shaky in the last couple of games, if an outfield player does the same he is replaced by another squad member
