    Match preview;
    This Saturday we welcome Huddersfield Town, who find themselves 23rd having won one, drawn one and lost five. Their only win 3-1 against Stoke on August 13th. They have conceded 11 so far in their opening 7 games, joint third worst in the division alongside 9 other clubs...including us. Only Hull (15) and Boro (12) have conceded more. They'll be furious after last weekend, when goal line technology failed to operate and therefore denied them an equalising goal against Blackpool, meaning they have now lost 3 of their last 4 and drawn the other. Their top scorers are Anjorin, Rhodes and Ward with 2 goals each. Interesting glancing over the career history of their manager, Danny Schofield, who has really worked his way up the ranks. He started at the Barnsley youth academy in 2014, and then whilst playing in non-league football he also coached Bradford Park Avenue. He gradually worked his way through the coaching ranks at Leeds and Boro before joining Huddersfield as under-19's coach, and was offered the top job when Corberan resigned in July. Saturday aside, got to say, good luck to him.

    We now have a coach with a very similar story, and on the pitch there have been moments of brilliance since he took over. Some wonderful football has been played and we've had some good wins, but amongst those wins we've also dropped points against Blackpool and Rotherham, teams I'd hoped we could beat. Saturday will be another potential banana skin as clearly Huddersfield aren't in fine form. Here's hoping that Chair, Willock and co to link up well, and Willock to continue to add to his 4 goals already scored this season.

    Team news and manager comments to go up asap and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    That’s 0-1 nailed on then.

    And more. Our opponents Saturday were in the Play off final in May and I gather would have won it without a bent Ref against them. Gather too they got robbed of an equaliser in their last game by Officials and a Hawkeye system that everyone else could see was in the net. So we got be 100% ready and up for this one.

    They no longer have that manager or their 2 best players that Forest took off their hands. They have started this season with a major hangover from that play off final defeat, and look a shadow of that team. We really should be putting them to the sword if we can reproduce our last home performance. However, our recent history against struggling teams near the foot of the table doesn't bode well !

    To add further mischief, my nephew is going to this match and his Mum is from Holmfirth and her family are all Town fans. The lad is solid QPR though.

    EFL to make an announcement either way when they’re ready.

    As far as I know I am still due into work tomorrow, is there a "thing" where a monarch dies we don't have to go to work for a few days?

    And Friday’s football. Are we meant to just sit in silence until the funeral? Have a minute’s silence and get on with it.

    Not so fussed about the cricket being cancelled. I had a ticket for tomorrow and it may well have been rained off anyway, so I now have £85 back to go and get pissed with. No reason for Saturday's games to be cancelled imo.

    Seems unusual to announce who will start to everyone including the Opposition 2 days before a game, if it goes ahead. But then maybe he'll change his mind.

    Anyone have any idea/knowledge of whether or not this game will go ahead? If they announce a period of official mourning will that mean all sporting events will be postponed?

    I'm wondering whether the entire sporting weekend may be cancelled.
    In my opinion, it should continue, with moments of respect at each venue.

    I think I'd agree. Not least of all because it'll be a nightmare for fans who have booked travel from, for example, Huddersfield to London. A minutes silence at every sporting event with zero tolerance for those who don't respect it.
