It was a strange fight. At times Hrgovic looked like he had the better of Zheng, especially with those combinations, but in other rounds it was like he just didn't want to be there. He kept looking away. Hrgovic was quicker, but Zheng looked stronger and like he could cause more damage.
Can't believe some people thought AJ was up after 9 rounds. Usyk schooled AJ and it was a similar score to last time. I thought he may have had Usyk in the 9th but it wasn't to be.
Of course the yanks decided to put on a sunday night in the US. I was all excited to watch this on sunday monrning for a saturday night US and then they go ahead and put it on US sunday so monday morning 4am. FFS I may get up to watch but probs just gonna watch highlights. Howay Ortiz man.
Ruiz beats wilder too just like any top 10 heavyweight.. Wilder has never beaten anyone of note... 40 tin cans
No chance... Ruiz can box for a start... Wilders power punch is useless against top boxers that's why he's never beat anyone good
Agreed. Ruiz has no head movement. He's a counter puncher. He's going to have to be aggressive and get in wilders face, but he's too flat footed and lacks head movement. He's going to get bombed unless Wilder has deteriorated in the last 12 months.
That's his only chance and that's why his team have never took on anyone good for 40 fights. The minute he fought a top 10 fighter he got annihilated.
Fury is more than just a top 10 fighter though. In his prime he was legit the best in the world. Fury survived due to his ability to evade Wilder's power. In the 3rd Wilder fight, Fury was far more flat footed and static due to being out of shape, and he almost got KO'd. Ruiz has fast hands, but no real head movement. He WILL take massive shots in this fight and will probably get KO'd. If you have no head movement, you have to be able to take a shot from Wilder, so we'll see just how good Ruiz chin is. Ruiz has a fantastic chin, but Wilder's power is something else.
That's the opinion but he beat an old klit and a useless wilder.... He's not had many big fights but is definitely no1. He's been run close by a few. Theres top fighters like fury then there's wilder who's never beat anyone of note... Not a chisora nobody..
That's not how boxing works.. Chisora did better than Joshua vs Usyk.. Wilder has fought tin cans and the top 10 hold shots better and box better. The guy can't box... Eventually you get found out
Usyk wasn't fighting anywhere near his best vs Chisora lol. Usyk himself rated himself a 3/10 on the night, it's clear he wasn't taking it that seriously. And styles make fights. The reality is Helenius will come charging forward trying to KO wilder, and Wilder will KO him. If you don't have head movement, you're getting KO'd vs Wilder. There's nothing about Helenius that tells me he will win. If Washington, Duhapas and Whyte can beat Helenius, Wilder most certainly will, unless, like I said, Wilder has deteriorated in the last 12 months
Like I say wilder loses to ruiz because he can't box. Who has wilder beat? Nobody worth mentioning.. Why? Because he can't box
He doesn't need to know how to box, his power is enough. He's a puncher not a boxer. He almost KO'd Fury. Wilder only needs to be good for 2 seconds like he says. He's KO'd everyone he's fought besides Fury who he knocked down 4 times. Ruiz will sit in Wilder's firing line. Ruiz is a counter puncher, he will wait to get hit and counter. That plays in Wilder's hands. If it goes the distance, maybe Ruiz will win, but the reality is Ruiz is going to hit the deck at some point in this fight.
40 plus fights building up this power from Another world reputation. Yeah he can bang a bit but if you put Joshua in vs those ****houses he'd ko them all too. Even Joshua with his chin would beat wilder.. He'd knock him out.
