Did FC's injuries start after the I would have said theirs as well but I think they're like that all the time. If they're not then clearly they do care about us however much they pretend otherwise
And theirs. Zero tolerance for racial abuse; banning order for life for the culprit/s. That being said, them throwing a flare into E4 won’t make as much noise in the media, even though it could’ve maimed someone for life.
A couple of thoughts We have far too many hamstring injuries for it to be a coincidence. We have so many good midfield/forward options I really cannot see the logic in sticking with a stupid back 5 when WE HAVE NO ****ING WING BACKS!!! and our centre halves are so shakey. It is a ridiculous way to set up with the available players. Shota makes odd decisions. Longman clearly isn’t match fit, he’s also a right winger, why not bring him back off again instead of playing him at ****ing left back? Subs too little too late. Pelkas looks an exciting addition but a couple of nice touches is hardly much to judge him from. I am looking forward to seeing more of him though for sure. I wonder if the bottle throwing and anti social behaviour at the puffby yesterday will receive equal attention to the shenanigans that went on in the NW corner today?
We had a top half defence last season but a very low goal total, so obviously defence wasn't a priority and attack was. We haven't got the balance right yet - for whatever reason - injuries etc. Yes we look more likely to score than we did last season, but we also look more likely to concede
It just crossed my mind as pretty sure it has some fibres sewn into it or certainly used to. Could be different now. It bloody puzzling?
take from today good turnout and support we really need to stop ****ing about at the back and giving our midfield hospital balls we could easily have scored a couple of goals if our finishing had been better the ref was completely ****ing incompetent otherwise not too disheartened, never good to lose to the odious ****s but bearing in mind that's what over £100 million gets you, I didn't think it was money well spent
How frustrating was that? Oscar and Tufan have to finish those chances, our midfield were missing for the majority of the game, plenty of fans getting frustrated at the back 3 passing it back to Ingram, but where were the midfielders to offer an outlet? Woods and Slater pairing just doesn't work. Tufan faded after the hour mark and should have been subbed, Seri and Pelkas look way off the pace. Our luck's run dry. Still lots of work to do.
Didn't see today's game . Dropping deeper was what Woods did when he came on at QPR and it made a difference but sounds like he didn't do it today. We have a team of midfield players and yet midfield seems to be a big problem at the moment. Does sound like we need 2 deep midfield players, one to get us playing and one to stop them playing. Ideally we'd have one person who can do both but I don't see that person in this squad so far.
Never used to cause this many injuries, but it was relaid over summer. Not sure when FC's injuries started but if it eas after that then it's too much of a coincidence
Defence is an issue. The whole team is a huge gamble and worthy of time to develop on the training ground. They will know it's wrong and that they can do better, so back them. It's a tactical naivety, not a disaster. There are some bloody good teams to come and we are capable of taking them on. All I've had are the lowlights and that shows no defensive bond or awareness. The coach must earn his coin.
