Cant see Newcastle finishing higher than 10th. Masters and his Premier League charlatans wont allow it
NUFC, Villa and West Ham on the end of shocking decisions today. Corruption is rife. There is no way on earth any decent official makes those decisions.
I have just watched it and that is an absolute joke. It is absolutely plain as day what is happening here. I said it last week when we got shafted against LiVARpool. The PL need certain teams to do well for the product. And it’s getting obvious when these VAR decisions are being reviewed. It’s match fixing: someone is making a lot off money out of this.
Video replays isn't the problem, how can a replay showing exactly what happened be a bad thing? It can't. It's the buffoons looking at it that's the problem, or the corruption.
They should have a shot clock like in tennis, that starts as soon as he gets the ball in his hands - once it reaches zero a buzzer goes and its an automatic indirect free kick, a first warning and then yellow card. It won't help the situation with goal kicks as the ball is dead but it would be a start. It was noticeable that he didn't do it at all during the first half yesterday - it only starts when they are drawing towards the end of a game they didn't expect to get anything from or anytime they are winning.
There's nothing we can do mate there's a few tantrums in the media and amongst the fans of the clubs that get shafted that week and then it moves on. The Americans are running the league and they make sure the so called 6 get where they need to be come may Liverpool and Chelsea needed a leg up... They'll deal with Brighton soon
VAR has made match fixing a hell of a lot easier than before. The idea was good, but it's too easy to exploit.... GET RID
It's simple in my mind. They just need to chip off the video ref thing. Leave the accountability with the on field ref but provide him with the capability to look at a replay on the field of play IF he feels he needs a bit of help for whatever reason. Right now the issue is there are too many cooks, it's removed accountability from the on field ref and decisions are being effectively made by committee which does not work in a game played at the pace of football. It's creating confusing decisions and ruining the product as a form of entertainment. My biggest problem is that players and fans are becoming fearful of just letting loose in celebration when a goal goes in.
I thought you were going to suggest a sniper in the stands who is free to have a shot once the clock runs out.
It's very deliberately set up to create confusion and lines of escape. It's rigged.. football has huge amounts of money riding on clubs finishing in the top positions. It's the season that's manipulated over it's full duration not the match The people that still think it's just bad officials must be living in a universe where money doesn't exist .
Better to go with all ref decisions but give each team 2 challenges. If they challenge wrongly they lose a challenge. If they are right they retain 2. The VAR ref is completely independent of on field ref and makes his own decision, which stands for each challenge.
