Officiating is not necessarily bad, just f*ckin' corrupt. Should mike refs up to explain VAR decisions to the fans as they do in American Football and employ ex players as VAR officials or just scrap VAR

Simplest fix as I see it is to mic up the refs and have the replays that VAR is looking at shown on the big screen as they are being looked at. Works in Rugby and keeps it transparent. Also worth nothing that the refs get a lot less **** in Rugby partly because of this transparency
Noticed on several occasions Palace players surrounding the ref trying to influence him Seemed to work for them
