    Lad culture from the 90s has a lot to answer for, since so much of that - especially lad's mags, which were Mein Kampf for incels - routinely portrayed women as sub-human

    Same can be said for pick up artists, which effectively reduce getting a woman into your bed to little more than the dopamine hit of winning an eBay auction, and some of their tactics (negging being the most obvious) are downright gaslighting

    He died in 2010 aged just 31.
    It seems that he died within a few months of getting the diagnosis.
    He was given some notoriety by Jeff Stelling on Sky, who accompanied reports of his goals with the quip that “Lisa would be pleased”.
    Hard not to burst out in tears reading that Twitter post

    Oldham striker Hallam Hope was attacked on the club car park after their defeat to Chesterfield on Saturday. He was taken to hospital having suffered a serious injury requiring surgery.
    His assailant was not a disgruntled fan but a Chesterfield player! He remains unnamed so far.
    Bloody hell, makes Joey Barton look angelic.

    Just love this pic. Thats exactly how I remember them all. Glad their record is still intact! Also love HBICs pic of 140 year anniverary! Can't believe the Club was only 60 years old when I was born! I think our mascot is the most unique & famous of them all (then I'm biased) <laugh>

    My grandmother was born in 1882 and died in 1971 and it's amazing how much the world changed in her life. From the first flight to reaching the moon. Two World Wars. It was always easy for me to remember when our club was founded.
