I know. Had my latest test earlier in the year. My father died with it, rather than because of it, as was fortunate to have it diagnosed early enough.
Hugely sad at this.... Bill was one of the good guys..... Him and Sian Williams on Beeb breakfast were like an old married couple that were such good company it made morning tv watchable..... RIP Bill and thanks for being you....
Yes, saddened to hear about Bill, as Trammers said, he was one of the good guys and one of those gifted presenters that always seemed to get it right. RIP...
Thank you very much, Please felloe R's have the blood test it could be the difference between life and death
Going back to Bill's relationship with Sian Williams. After Wycombe won the Play Off Final during the COVID affected season a couple of years ago, Sian tweeted Bill and said something along the lines of "Come on Billy , what did you really do at the end of the game?" and Bill simply replied, "I cried"......
Ffs saw them live a couple of times , very good especially at Madstock along with Ian Dury. RIP big man
I actually known Henry and his family for the past 20 years or so........ this is just so, so sad........ our thoughts are with all the family at this time.......
Finally got the chance to say goodbye to Jackie today at the West Berkshire Crematorium. The affection people had for her was reflected by the number that came to pay their respects, both in person and via a link to her native South Africa. A moving day. She’d have been embarrassed to have been the centre of attention, bless her.
