And if we signed 4 strikers like you wanted whats to say they would hit the net regularly, considering at minimum 2 of them would be on the bench every game and maybe one of them not even in the squad?
If most championship teams lost their first choice striker they'd be knackered. And many would be even more knackered than we would be.
With Stewart firmly in place, and scoring, not many decent strikers would want to come to play second fiddle ... .... the alternative is to sign someone poor who would.
Exactly every club struggles to get anyone decent in as back up when the club have a clear first choice striker. I'm relaxed about it, IF we get injuries we have decent firepower in the attacking players. Mind you if my auntie had a knob she would be my uncle.
