I think I was trying to write Isak… which sounds like Ivan and then my fingers wrote Toney to follow Ivan
Oh yeah good point, I hadn't thought of that. If the ref adds enough extra additional added time, Toney should get from Newcastle to London in time to score in both games.

No perfect 8's last night but a few 5's. @Geordieginola wins the round and also August with a record-equaling 64pts with his card. He also leads the overall standings by 4 from @JakartaToon with @Thunder Twunt a further point behind. @Andra Tutto Bene is the highest of the posters who hasn't used his first card yet and its always fun to watch him play it.

I've got a strange feeling Everton may get something from Liverpool, but likely it will be a tough game that Liverpool just nick.
For those you who are unaware the records for card useage are now as follows: Best use of a card: @Hung,Drawn and Quartered (2021-22) & @Geordieginola (2022-23): 64pts Worst use of a card: @Andra Tutto Bene (2021-22): 2pts
So does it just double your overall score then? I was wondering how the heck some people were scoring so highly until I saw the rules.
It doubles your score for each of the 10 games to which it applies. GG actually scored 32 this midweek round, doubled up to 64. @Andra Tutto Bene scored 1pt for his 10games, doubled up to 2.
Yes, that's right Tash. So, let's say, for example, IF Trev were to only score 1 point, and IF he had played his card, it would double his score all the way up to 2 points. Not that that would ever actually happen, of course, but just for illustration purposes.
