Honestly think the weather has a bit to do with that. Much easier to sit and rest for 65 then push really hard for the last 25 than it is to go from the he heat we’ve had this season.

Woke up this morning still buzzing from last night.

Before the game I would have took a draw after how we played against them last year but we pretty much dominated from start to finish.

We are so dangerous going forward with so many options, teams won't enjoy playing us this year if we keep this up

They are an odd club - they look totally dominant in L1 but no better than relegation candidates in The Championship even when playing against a side they were promoted with. Maybe it's a mindset thing

I thought our quick one touch passing between the forward players in the last third was incredible last night.
We cut through Rotherhams back line with ease.

I think this could be the best position for him.

He has such tight control being central could be his place, but then we now have Diallo who can play there, and if this Ba kid lives up to his showreel we have a proper showman player there.

Looks a bit Saint-Maximin. Hate to use a Mag as a ref point but that’s who springs to mind.

Not had a player like that since Sess, and those of you that’s been on here for all the years will know I ****ing adored Sess.

I think they are a good club, they just have incredibly limited appeal and finance.

Fans are a passionate bunch I’ve always seen that. They are probably punching and overachieving to be Championship level but they do a little bit better each time. I don’t think anyone would have stopped us winning last night there was a laser focus there after playing so well and getting beat weekend.

For me, we haven’t played a team yet that’s genuinely looked better than us.

Diallo is an interesting one. I've just been reading that he was considered as being capable of playing centrally in midfield, but just outside a holding player, in one of those narrow midfields they like there. But he says his favourite position is as a right-winger. Seems he might be comfortable in a few positions.

Edit: when he was in Italy, I mean.

Yeah, he doesn't seem to have played that many first team games for anyone yet, so that's probably why.

Really was expecting a tough game based on how they played last season and their start this season too. We completely outclassed them however.

I thought last season both us and Rotherham already had more of a championship team than league one team, with the way we played etc.

Just shows how much we have been able to step up and if we start taking out chances we will batter a few teams this season.

Anybody else getting the feeling of a Wolves-esque season ahead for us?

Beginning of the season I would not have expected us to be that dominate against them.

Trying to be as unbiased as possible, but going off our general performances so far, there are not many teams we need to be worried about. The talent in our squad is not bottom half championship level imo, and, on paper, yesterday's signings will push us even further. So maybe harsh judging Rotherham off yesterday's game, they were undefeated before that.

If we can remain consistent throughout the season, I believe we now have the squad (except maybe a forward or 2 as backup for Stewart and Simms), that could potentially push for top 8 finish or higher. If we'd got the result our performance deserved against Norwich we'd be in 2nd place right now. Having said that, it is a very young squad, so we might not have that consistency so would still be more than happy with mid table finish to the season.

I've been pleasantly surprised so far, fingers crossed it's the same for rest of the season

Agree. All 7 of our games have seen us compete and it's probably only the Sheff Utd game we didn't deserve to win and that was down to the red card. The main worry is/was about us blowing out our arses on 70 mins and a lack of options off the bench but that didn't feel like a problem last night. After starting the season nervous about our prospects I think we will finish in the top half quite comfortably

Unbeaten before yesterday though and looking pretty good too. We looked miles better than them though. Was a great performance.

Think we’re a different animal this season. Look a much better unit than we did last. Hopefully things are going in the right direction

Loved it all last night. More than anything though, it's the togetherness of this group, they've just cracked on, long may it continue.

Pretty sure he'd fetch over £10m now TBH. When you look at some of the money that has been spent on forwards in the league, and Ross' record of improvement, I'm pretty surprised a team such as say, Brighton haven't thought about him. Goals look to be the only thing they lack.

But hopefully, they all think he's ****e!

Think it's a bit early for him yet. If he continues on his upward improvement, our problem may be hanging on to him in January, when one or two PL teams are getting really worried.

Having watched it back, his off the ball movement is actually next level. The runs he makes to take defenders away is tremendous. On the ball he sometimes seems clumsy but off the ball he’s great
