He probably could, but our defenders have been great this season too. I feel like Danny Batth is the major unsung hero of this team. We seem to just take his 7 & 8/10 performances for granted.
I think Neil has been good all game, you can see him improving each game - he's competing more physically which is so important
I’ve really been impressed with him off the ball so far this season (red card aside) ability on the ball was never in doubt he’s improved massively for me
Good to put a fellow promoted team to bed as well btw. We need the points to get ourselves safe and should be beating these. Good to see we have won the game and obviously prevented them getting points. I always remember Keane saying that the season won't be decided by results against man utd etc. but against the teams in and around us at that time.
aye, sounds a bit defeatist BUT when you’re attempting to stay up, beating another team due to be down there feels like more than 3 points sometimes
This is a world different from the long dark days of League One. Seemed like we'd never get here at times. Looks like AN might have done us a big favour too by making way for Mowbray.
Yeah I agree with that, I’m guilty of forgetting just how young he is at times, fair play to him the way he’s come back from it too we look to have some good options in there now, finally!
Great covering tackle first half to cover onien. I was explaining that to the bairn about how he watched it then covered his teammate. Simple but effective
