I see Celtic emulated Liverpool's feat of scoring 9 goals today - only they scored them away from home. I can't see Dundee Utd's manager hanging on to his job...

Only four matches into the new season? How shocking... I find it strange that many are making comments of support for the club owners - the ones who hired him in the first place but apparently wouldn't support him financially - rather than, as in our case when Xisco was sacked, slagging them off. Many even calling it a sensible decision.
Quite and they won the easiest game too with 3 very tricky ones after that but he was never going to last long after criticising the board and players. Got the impression they were looking for an excuse to get rid .
If you listen to his post-match interview, it came across as though he had almost thrown the towel in and accepted relegation four games into a season. My initial thought having listened to it, was, that he would not be left in charge for very long. There is no way he could face his players and motivate them if they had seen that interview.
Everton are closing in on signing of Manchester United midfielder James Garner for a fee believed to be around £15m He is mediocre in my opinion, so 15 M is beyond belief.
Interesting comments from Antonio and Wilson about Richarlison 'I would have hit him harder' Both Wilson and Antonio agreed that they wouldn't enjoy being on the other end of Richarlison's antics. Commenting on the foul by Johnson, Wilson said he "would have hit him harder than that", adding: "He let him off. If you're going to take a yellow, take a yellow that's on the line of getting a red!" West Ham striker Antonio said: "You could be in the far corner and I'm playing up front on the halfway line - I'm sprinting all the way back and I am swiping your legs, 100%." I wonder if the authorities will charge should charge Antonio for bringing the game into disrepute by condoning violent conduct. Also...i didn't see Antonio slating Payet when he showboated against us a few seasons ago with the Rabona cross!!! As for Wilson, he would probably have dived four or five times on his way to kicking Richarlison
If my memory serves me correctly, i think it was West Ham away when we won 2-4 Deeney was livid about Payet's showboating there. He said it made us go on to win or words to those effect.
Yeah, troy was livid and it pumped the team up, the difference is that (if my memory serves) we didnt have players trying to break his legs or other players condoning such actions...
Didn't see the incident - but if those are verbatim reports they should both be damn well charged. If nothing else, their stupidity is encouraging any watching kids to indulge in on-field violence.
