Fell out with the new manager is July, who wanted him to train with the development team. Probably forced his move through. I think that's where most of the comments are coming from
new manager left him out of the squad for pre-season tour so he had to train with development team. He said he wanted to leave if he wasn't in the first team, so he was called to a meeting with their sporting director but didnt turn up. sounds like he probably SHOULD have turned up, so they're right to be pissed off at him. But I admire his confidence and desire to get away and play, rather than just train and get the odd minute there.
Hope Mr Mowbray ( see that Gordon) is multi lingual, what with Spanish, French, Irish and Scotish players in our squad not to mention a smattering of English as well
Really hope we don't lose one of our better players as a surprise, I know it's the 'model' but the timing would be totally against everything we are trying to build upon.
I think it's more likely to be one that's trying to claim a place in the side, but just not quite managing it. My guess, and that's all it is, would be Elliott.
Looks like he could be a 6 or an 8 whereas Michut an 8 or a 10. With "model" players being 6 - Fabinho ; 8 - Jordan Henderson ; 10 - Bruno Fernandes
Winchester to go. Not mobile enough in midfield and gives ball away too much when in defense. Nice lad but league 1 player.
Yeah the likes of Matete, Winchester, Dajaku I would expect to go. Would be a shame with Embo as I think he can still contribute and as a local lad it would be great to see him stay. Money will dictate at the end of the day though.
The list above though are all players I'd probably expect to go. the only way our model works is if we occasionally sell our better players if we get a good bid. By better, I don't mean best. So I'd like to think Stewart stays. But I can definitely see Pritchard going in the next 24 hours, as unpalatable as that would be to a lot of people. A big bid for him might be too tempting
