Is it just me… whenever we get a great win like tonight, I just can’t stop liking people’s comments. I’m filled with likes and am ready to burst! I bet if there was a way of plotting likes-given on a graph, Vs dates of games won then we could prove a ‘likely’ correlation!

    My mind at full time….
“I like that comment / ooooh I like what you said there / I like the praise you’re giving him / I like your summary / I like your username / I like your avatar / I like Southampton / I like Ralph / I like football / I like giving likes

    Time to sleep. COYR!

Just got back as it was a complete nightmare to get out of Southampton tonight but I don't care! That is easily our best 90 minute display of the season. Obviously we had terrific spells in the Leeds and Leicester games and played well against United but tonight everyone was just on their game. Real shame about Lavia but could have been worse I suppose. Che is just making life extremely difficult for CB's even if he's not scoring. As Pulis said: "he murdered the two CB's tonight".

It's so easy to see the difference between McCarthy and Bazunu in goal. Bazunu just commands his area so well, he just gives this air of confidence to those around him. ABK and Salisu are forming quite a partnership at the back. Everyone's raving about ABK and rightly so but lets not leave Salisu out of the praise. After his horror OG at Spurs he's looked very solid since then.

I'm really excited about the season ahead now and I'm off to Wolves on Saturday which will be tough but we can get a result if we play like this.

Just realised who Lavia reminds me of. I was thinking Kante, but he's more physically imposing - it's actually Michael Essien.

Huge 3 points that caps off a brilliant start to the season considering how tough our first 5 games were. 7 points from Spurs, Leeds, Leicester, United and Chelsea is a great return.

We now have a run of kinder fixtures where points are certainly up for grabs in every game.

    Wolves
    Brentford
    Villa
    Everton

Another 6/7 points from that lot and we are sitting pretty!

Interesting that Chelsea fans are beginning to turn on Tuchel. I mean, Poch is available, but would he want to go to an old people's home? Doesn't suit his style.

They're raving about ABK as well, whilst pointing out that Tuchel would never play him.

After the back end of last season it's an odd feeling to go behind and think "we can get back into this". Nice though.

I’m so gobsmacked what a result!!! We played a bit better than we did Saturday in my opinion. Although we didn’t get the result we deserved. Tonight though we kept our heads and showed just how we can play. I also think we still haven’t seen the best of saints yet. Well done saints at last you get the result you deserve even despite what seems to be biased refs or at least blind ones perhaps,!!!

    Another brilliant quote from Ralph:

"I said it from the first day that we have the feeling that we have a team that is young but there is a lot of empty space on the hard disk and they can learn."

We've had some players over the years with plenty of empty space on the hard disc, but one got the sense that it was a hidden partition.

You aren't wrong. And the noticeable thing isn't just that Lavia bullies people out of the ball, but that he manages to make progressive passes while surrounded by the people he bullied off the ball. He's going to start so very many counterattacks (especially once we have more pace up front to make good those counterattacking chances).

Easily the best we've played for ages. Every player was excellent.

At HT I thought ABK was a shoo-in for my MOTM. But in the end I gave it to Armstrong. He was excellent with cherries on top. I said after Utd that I thought that was his best game in a Saints shirt - but he blew that out of the water tonight.
