Heard the match in parts. Any other day one of our chances go in and it's a different game. As for Neil, he can get ****ed what speakman is saying is true. The daft cheb that put that audio out "All the players went to Speakman pissed off asking for a better contract". Also a picture says a thousand words, Neil knew what he was doing rocking up to training in his Jeans knowing he'd be snapped basically saying "I'm just popping in on my way out". He's never had as much coverage and attention as he has here the past few months.Well done today boys and hard lines. Long live the club.
I have no problem with any of the old dinosaurs coming in if it’s just to steady the ship while we find who we really wan, they will know how to handle the squad from day one, a younger lad no matter how good could be completely overawed being dropped in at the deep end.
we were very unlucky to lose today played well just one of those day we couldn't score O'Nein very good maybe that his best position after all hopefully we get 3 points on Wednesday and **** Alex Neil hope you get relegated with Stoke
Lads played well. They tired and subs not used. And by the way, F*** Alex Neil. I hope his next ****e is a hedgehog FTSTOKE And FTM
Just can't believe we didn't get anything from that match. Good performances all round with plenty of effort and outstanding support. Our luck has to turn soon. PS - Alex Neil is an absolute cnut!
Just in from the match, well done to the players. I thought we were excellent for 75 minutes against a decent Norwich side and had enough chances to win the game. A lack of concentration gave them the goal but I thought we were very unlucky to get nothing from the game. Some great performances today and the players left everything on the pitch, roll on Rotherham on Wednesday night. I have a question that may have been answered previously. Why have we moved the touchlines in by a yard on each side, were we scared of Norwich's expansive play? I reckon our fast passing would have been more suited to the bigger pitch.
I thought that too Marcus but the touchline in front of me is definitely a yard in. I missed the Coventry game and probably didn't notice at the QPR game, but where I sit I can't normally see the player taking the corner on the SE line but it looked like they were taking short corners today. I still reckon a bigger pitch suits our style more
I meant more he was making a point. He went from making changes and good ones to doing very little in terms of subs. Strange.
Cracking game and I thought we deserved at least a point but Norwich are a good side and I’d be surprised if they aren’t top 2. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted as well, ****ing brilliant.
**** Alex Neil. We didn't deserve to be on the losing side, worthy of at least a point and arguably should have won the game. We all wondered and perhaps worried what the reaction would be from the crowd and the players today, but both were brilliant. We kept that same intensity and press that has caused everyone else problems and given that they were a PL side last year, I thought we gave them a really tough time. The two changing moments are the two that come off the bar, coupled with the Pritchard effort on the rebound of the first one being cleared off the line. They've caught us with one tbf, its a good move and they get the cut back. They'd offered so little up to then and the fact their fans were silent up until that point said it all. Credit to the lads, their reaction today was superb. Luke O'Nien man of the match, he was simply in the way of absolutely everything they put his way.
100% agree, the reaction was exactly what we all hoped for from players and fans, both deserve credit as it could have been far different. two that hit the woodwork, pritchards shot, two damn good hits from evans as well were 5 good chances you would expect at least two of them to have hit the back of the net, as i said earlier, on another day that was a comfortable 3 or 4 -1 win...we are going to start putting these chances to bed soon and when we do we will take some stopping.
Gutted with that today. I thought we'd be in for a long day, but we deserved at least a draw, it wasn't for a lack of effort from the lads. Evans was my MOM, he's such an underrated and important player for us. He was always in the right places breaking up play and getting us going. I wouldn't swap him for anybody.
Spot on mate. It is his best position. He seemed to me to go back to his old game today. Attacked everything in his area, diving headers in his own area etc. He is one of them who can still play a role in this squad for me, supposed to be fantastic around the place. You can bet he was one getting the lads firing today.
