Salah has missed several good chances today. He should be on the scoreboard TAA's goal our best of the season so far. Whole team is playing well. Elliott has especially impressed today though.
Tbf don’t think it was the defeat, was more the manner of the performance coupled with the performance v Fulham and the previous 2 results. win this, have to back it up with wins v newcastle and Everton or else talk will be back on our poor points return
Even better news is i have a working stream though since i had been to listening on R5 until HT i probably should just continue doing that .
Our problems still exist: an aging and injury-prone midfield. That is/will continue to be a problem for the season and beyond and needs fixing. Our 'crisis' was our lack of intensity and effort which, I'm glad to see, has returned (today at least). I don't expect 5 goals every game, but I expect this kind of effort from the team Another 2/3 goals would be nice today!
To be honest, not sure if that should be offside. Diaz might have impacted his run. He was close enough to him.
Yeah. It's totally subjective whether that should be offside or not. Two different officials could give two different responses to that and neither be wrong.
Happens quite a lot, and feel the question has to be if the forward wasn’t there, would it have resulted in a goal? Clear answer is no as defender just leaves it so forward clearly impacts them therefor has to be classed as offside. Doesn’t happen though so they’ve been consistent but just don’t like the rule
