We deserved something from that game, great defending, plenty of creativity, and a good few chances. Shame about letting them score, but things are looking up for sure.

Well played Saints, that was a great performance.

With any of Better finishing, luck from the handball(s), McTomminay getting booked for persistent fouling long before the ref finally woke up to him and we could have gotten at least a draw.

Better team lost - plenty of positives to take from that.

Really good performance - nobody needs to feel bad about their shift today. Do need some finishing help still though.

Maybe we just need to be braver, now, trust the CBs and be more aggressive from the start.
Staying tight and not pressing forward in numbers, until after we have conceded, is frustrating me, especially as we are showing that we can compete.
    Good effort.

I'm really, really excited by this team. 100% back to Ralph in now too.

    ABK is a beast.

The vast majority of Utd's xG came on that one sequence of blocks.

Perraud has his work cut out to get back in the side. That's two immense games from Moussa at LB now.

Very true. He was superb and we lost a bit of threat when he went off.

Not disappointed with the effort at all, we gave United a game and deserved a point.
Ralph has something good going on here and the feeling is we can only get better.
Full credit to the scouting team finding, Bella-Kotchap, Bazunu, Lavia, Mara they have given us a boost.
Tino will be like a new signing when he comes back. Just hope they can find a striker before the window shuts.
For me, Ralph has never been the problem, he has had a lot of mess to clear up and if he carries on like this, I can't see him retiring.

That is a disappointing result but a good disappointment because it is because Saints didn't get the result their performance deserved not because they played badly. They worked hard but just couldn't get the ball in the net. In the end it was a top finish from Fernandes.

I can't believe handball wasn't given. It was blatant handball

I think I am saying this every week but these new signings give me a lot of faith in our recruitment department

Have to disagree. McTominay had no idea about it, as he was facing in the wrong direction. It hit his hands, but he had zero time to react, and certainly didn't move to block the ball (which was going away from goal).

It would have been an extraordinarily harsh penalty to give.

I think if we score that penalty, we go on to win the game. Based on nothing.

Definitely possible. I think if that headed chance falls to someone other than KWP earlier, we probably also go on to win.

It’s always interesting when you see chances like that fall to defenders and they head high - like they are taught to from the very start

Disappointing to come away with nothing, I thought we looked really good and deserved a point, minimum.

The new signings (Kotchap, Djenepo, Lavia, Aribo) all looked good, Salisu looks reborn now he doesn't have one half of the chuckle brothers next to him, and Armstrong looks so much more comfortable out left.

We're clearly lacking in depth in areas, bringing on Lyanco as a striker is not something you'd want to see too often, but on that basis today, we have the core of a very good team

If I had any criticism, is that Kotchap needs some shooting boots :)
