So I guess Ambrosio is a better driver than Kubica since he was nearly 2 seconds faster than his qualifying pace... And Sam Bird should be in that Mercedes rather than Schumacher since he was 1.3 seconds faster than a 7 time World champion...
Not another Vettel love fest thread after another easy win "Bangs head against brick wall in despair".
The test for Vettel comes when the tides turn, when he finds himself 4th-6th in qualifying despite extracting everything out of the car through a season.
Welll you pick a ****ing driver to talk about then! Jeez, there's only so many on the grid worthtalking about!
If that's the case, Vettel is already there, along with Alonso. Vettel is possibly the quickest driver ever over a single lap, and Alonso's talents need no repeating.
as someone who watched all off schumachers career... well he was better than prost anyday so bang goes that theory. people need only see how many races he won in that terrible early ferrari to know what i mean. For me senna is the pinacle, prost, fangio and others cam claim it but schumacher is the best of the rest behind senna. anyway.... alonso. great? yes? cheat? for sure. deliberate crashes by team mate to get a win and mcclarengate put an even bigger shadow than any anti schumacher tirade could. Ok senna and prost hammered into each other too and i think maybe they'd stoop to the lows if they got the chance as well. For me alonso could have been a great but then so could have kimi.... we'll see in the next 5 years. Vettel has eliminated errors from his resume so i think he could in theory be the next great but he needs a rival to both push him and make him look as good as he may well be. Ie he's got to beat guys not only from the front but from hard racing too.
lets see him in a few more cars first, he's good but hasn't really done anything that other drivers on the grid haven't done in dominant cars. He hardly blew away the competition in the junior formulas where he didn't have a car advantage.
There are car advantages in lower formula. And I can point to one driver who was given them all through his career.

To be fair I did say I had nothing to add, I just liked the picture. It was on a story about Justin Bieber, just don't ask why I was reading a story about Justin Beiber (he does look alot like Vettel)
