I don't agree with cancelling student debt. If you go to University/College then you are investing for your future. You should study a subject that will give you a job at the end. My nephew did a tough degree but already had the offer of a very good job before he left. Not everyone goes to University but they may still have debt. Tradesmen need to buy tools and vehicles for their business and would probably have had to pay for trade based qualifications, many people didn't get the benefit of a good school so didn't have the opportunity of further education. These people are the vast majority of the workforce. Many of them have become very successful despite a lack of further education. Many people are stuck in low paid jobs. On top of this many students are paying, or have paid, their student loan. Why should these people give money to someone who did a University Degree in Estonian Poetry that now glues themselves to petrol station forecourts because they can't get a job in their chosen field and won't take a job that is beneath them. I know I'm comparing what has happened in the USA to this country but it has been proposed here too. The student debt cancellation is a bribe before the mid terms that I think will backfire. Career Politicians and their social circles don't realise that the vast majority of their voters are just ordinary people.
Education isn't the be all and end all of finding a job. I knew a guy who left school unable to read or write. He applied to the local council for a job and they offered him a position cleaning public toilets. He turned it down as being beneath him. He went on to make a fortune after starting his own little business collecting rags and bones. He was interviewed by the BBC and asked, if he was so successful as an illiterate, what he might have been if he had been able to read and write. He answered "A lavatory cleaner"! Boom, boom.
A lot will see the title and ignore it, instead of educating themselves to see what's really going on, it is worth the watch and thank you for looking
Ooooooh, aaaahh,oh my god,squeal,screech........ it's "a" level results day and the over the top reactions are in full swing, now I seem to remember back in the old days this phenomenon was strangely absent but then again the local news cameras weren't outside to capture the mass hysteria......it was usually a case of "what did you get, Billy or Susie" and that was it .......still I suppose today's students who are doing "media" courses etc will be hoping to be the other side of the cameras filming the next screechfest and not be behind the counter at maccy "d".......should have done an engineering course or similar, "what's one of those ????? Screeeeeeeeeech
Klaus Schwabs WEF will have jobs for the majority of these braindead useful idiots, the academics in the universities have washed their brains indoctrinated them and sent them out into big wide world for them to destroy. ****s. https://youtube.com/shorts/EB8OPe4FyyA?feature=share
What needs to be done about Energy prices then? A) Turn a blind eye to Russia and use their gas B) Hope the government comes up with some kind of Solar panel subsidy C) Vote Starmer as he has an answer for everything
Drop the Net Zero agenda which adds 25% in subsidies to everyone’s energy bills. Become self sufficient in energy which is easily doable by increasing production in the North Sea and starting fracking. Plentiful supplies of energy under our feet. Reduce fuel duty substantially. In the USA they’re moaning about fuel price increases and yet the price of a litre over there is less than half what it is here - because they’re self sufficient.
